Great buffet breakfast, standard APA hotel experience, simple but effective.

Spa opening hours could be longer. Also, I booked a single room but somehow there were two beds in a smallish room, which made the space cramped. Same room size with only one bed would have been better.

This was our first stay at a Apa Hotel chain. The room is a typical Japanese city hotel that is small compared to US rooms. They had a robe that you could wear in the room. The breakfast buffet spread was quite nice with a variety of items to choose from.

The hotel lobby is on the 2nd floor of the building. They were doing some repairs and you had to take one elevator to the 2nd floor and then ride another elevator near the other end of the building to go up to the rooms which was inconvenient but not a deal breaker. There were not enough parking spots in the basement parking lot so we had to park a block and a half away and needed to turn in the parking pass to the lobby each time we parked. One of the reasons why we picked this hotel was that they had washers and dryers, but they only had 2 machines which were in use and we had to walk up a flight of stairs to get to them. We drove to a laundromat to do our laundry.

Easy walking distance from the railway station, friendly staff, good breakfasts, relaxing onsen, useful laundry facilities.

The single rooms are very compact, but for this visit I was given a three bed room, which was much more comfortable.

Near station, clean, reasonable price Japanese breakfast is simple but good enough. Near restaurants, bars

The location was convenient.

The parking lot was full when I arrived. This wouldn't have been a problem since they have other lots available, but there isn't any info on where they are online. I contacted the Hotel, and instead of telling me where the other lots were, they just kept confirming there were other lots, but not giving me the location of the lots or where to find that information. They do have the locations posted inside the hotel, but that doesn't help when you are trying to find parking to check in. The room was pretty warn out, and the mattress looked terrible. This is possibly the worst APA I have ever stayed in.
