Palm Springs Resort Miyakojima was our favorite hotel during our trip! Compared to most places in Japan, the apartment was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was fully equipped with everything we needed — including a smart TV with Netflix, a free private parking space, and a very comfortable bed. The location was also great for exploring the island.

That said, we did experience a few minor issues. The staff wasn’t very helpful, and there were no English instructions (or even Japanese ones) for the washing machine and dryer — we had to figure everything out ourselves. One day, I rented a life vest for snorkeling, and the receptionist told me I could return it by 8 PM. However, when I arrived (even before 6 PM), the reception was already closed. Even a staff member from the restaurant next door was surprised by this. Fortunately, I was able to return the vest the next morning without any extra charge. Despite these small inconveniences, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We had a great stay at this accommodation near the beautiful Painagama Beach. The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, and convenient parking spots nearby. Check-in was super easy and smooth, which made things even better after a long trip. The apartment had everything we needed, including a washer-dryer combo. It was a bit noisy, but it worked well and came in handy during our stay. Overall, it was a very successful and enjoyable vacation. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very spacious, clean, organized. The bathroom has all the amenities all Japanese hotels provide: good shampoo, conditioner and body soap (they were very good!😊),tooth brush, body scrub towel, hair drier and good towels. The Japanese shower is so good and the small ofuro is a blessing. Free parking spots and washing and drying machine.

Extra charge for pajama, except from that everything was perfectly.

Great location. It’s 5’ walk from Panigama beach. There’s a bus station there for the Island Loop Bus that goes to different islands, which make it convenient for those who travel without a car. The staff are super helpful. They took time to explain to me how to go around the islands and also recommended my travel plan given the time I have. The room are equipped with washing machine and a small kitchen which is great for quick meals as most restaurants near by are close during off-peak seasons. Bike rental are also available for short trips within the areas.

It’s more like a condo-hotel than a resort. The name resort is misleading and can cause confusion of what type of services are expected to be available.

The space is of a very good size and you have everything needed in the room (washing machine, dryer, fridge, microwave, hotplaces. It's not exactly in the city center but everything is very close as the island is not big. I believe they have a deal with a restaurant right next to guest services where you could get discount for every meal

Honestly, nothing wrong with the hotel or accommodation

The bungalow was amazing, and we were so happy with our small apartment! We had everything we needed, and the hotel personnel was very friendly and helpful all the time. There were a lot of eating possibilities around the corner, and the city was good to reach by foot. If you would like to explore the whole island, a rental car is a must. Thank you for everything!

Big apartment with good facilities. The accommodation is not directly in the city center, but it’s reachable by 15 Minutes walk. There are also some Restaurants around. Closest beach is reachable by 5 Minutes walk, convenience store as well. Staff is very friendly.

Very clean and walkable location. Beds were comfy and the space was just right for our group of 3. Loved the washer and dryer and kitchen.

Found a cockroach the last day we were there in the kitchen area. The people upstairs above our unit were extremely loud and we could hear their footsteps until very late at night.

The interior is amazing and something that one would not expect before entering. Appliances are good and cutlery is generous. The main office staff was also good.

Its an apartment stay rather than a hotel. The expectations are not set right.

Very conveniently located next to sunset beach. All the other beaches we drove were also very close, maybe 20 minutes maximum which made our stay very comfortable. The city center was 5 min by taxi and mere 440¥ so very very convenient

Nothing in particular. They even had rental bycycle first come first serve though
