The Hotel has lovely views of the bay and a fabulous sunset view. With a rental car, it is a convenient base to explore Amanohashidate, Ine and some of the Fukui prefecture areas of Wakasa and Obama for the lovely beaches. We selected the renovated twin room and it was clean, spacious and we slept comfortably. The eco-cleaning of towel replacement and trash removal met our needs for a 2-night stay. Reception was pleasant and we enjoyed visiting the onsen which was well maintained.

The half board option of breakfast and dinner had a variety of food options. However, the menu was entirely repetitive on both nights, but it was good enough for a short stay.

The buffet was excellent. We appreciated that the allergens were identified for each meal. The ice cream machine is a winner with the kids, The beer machine is a winner for adults ! The pool was great especially during the summer heat. The staff is very friendly. The value is very good as breakfast and diner are included. The room is a little bit outdated but very clean and spacious with a beautiful view from either side of the building. A very nice stay in an area less crowded by tourists.

The dining room could be more appealing. The pool closes at 5:30pm.

We booked this hotel at the last minute for the weekend and it was cheaper compared to other hotels in the area. Even so, it offered a spa, free drinks during certain times and a bright room with a nice view and a beautiful outdoor space

When I arrived I was surprised to see that no one of the guests was using the pool. My husband and I thought we could have the pool all by ourselves and went straight over there only to find out that the base of the pool was full of dirt and couldn't be used. I thought the pool could be used during this period? It is June and the weather is perfect so I am not sure why the pool is not in use. Also there is no notice saying that the pool cannot be used so we were a bit confused about it.

I was surprised how much I liked that hotel! After reading all the bad reviews on Google, before our stay, I was a little scared. But it turned out to be great! The rooms were so spacious and the ocean view beautiful. The onsen area was great and huge. They had an outside onsen as well. And that pool was pretty quite with little ppl. They even had an European Sauna, which was 94°C. The hotel provided a drink buffet (hard alc and softdrinks) in the evening. Plus a few snacks. We didn't even know that it was included. And the area is just too beautiful..

The shuttle service is too few and the last shuttle from town too early. If there would have been more shuttle, my rating would have probably been 10! The food prices (breakfast around ¥3000 and dinner buffet around ¥8000) were steap, so we didn't eat in the hotel. There was carpet in our room (I guess in every room), which was dirty around the table and seating area (permanent stains). I don't care about things like this, but other ppl probably could..

Regular visitor which obviously means we like it there. Great breakfast. Very relaxing, with a big room. Great onsen. We have car, so we visit quiet little sandy beaches when not enjoying the complimentary drinks.

One hour and twelve minutes for check in. We notified the hotel in advance of our arrival time. Also we requested to not be given a room with a view of the car park. Unfortunately we had no choice but to stay the first night in such a room and then changed rooms the next day. Unfortunately the bar wasn’t used for afternoon/diner drinks, maybe because so full for New Year? The replacement rooms are like a company cafeteria. Although breakfast is one of the best in Japan, diner was not so special.

The breakfast was good with lots of varieties. The Yukata was very confortable, and the Onsen was lovely. The free snacks and alcohol every evening was a pleasant surprise

The shuttle bus left early, and because of that, we had to wait around for almost an hour for the next one. We were there at 4.28 and the shuttle bus that was supposed to leave at 4:30 pm was gone. The pick up was from the very small train station. So the driver knew the train was coming.

The lounge. It provides free flow of beers from 1500-1800, and of course other drinks too & light snacks. From 2100-2300, free flow of liquors get to choose, with some refreshments. The onsen is also good but have to pay ¥150 (tax) per person. I dont quite understand why they collect this ¥150 tax/pax. Staff are friendly. Nice, clean and very spacious family room.

1)No gym :( 2&3) Swimming pool only open at 1000. What is worse than this? The closing time of the pool. It closes at 1700! If during winter, maybe I can understand. But it is summer, the sky is so bright even after 1900. 4) Location is 10 minutes away from town.

The rooms were very large and exceptionally clean. The breakfast buffet was expansive and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The complementary lounge drinks and snacks were an unexpected bonus. Will definitely return.

It was little odd that the espresso machine was only available during the lounge hours and not at breakfast. The mattresses were slightly hard, but not unbearable.

We primarily booked there for the amazing breakfast and hot spa. One of the best breakfasts in Kansai. The afternoon and evening free refreshments was an unexpected bonus. It is a quiet location, only ten minutes drive to the town center.nice views, and beaches nearby..great place for both families and couples. We didn’t eat diner there (next time), but every single diner guest we saw looked very satisfied. Nice big room. Can’t wait to visit in summer when the outside pool is open!

Check-in took over 20 minutes because the hotel had only opened 4 days earlier, but staff were really excellent. I was under the impression we had a high level room, but didn’t. The spacious room we had, had a little outdated decor, and one of the chairs was broken and old. The most amazing breakfast is only open from 7-9am. There was a cue at opening time. There was a feeling you had to rush.

Amazong hotel. A very big room, great spa facility with hot and cold onsens and a sauna. The room is equipped with enough towls and you get free yukata for your stay. Would definitely return and have already recommended it to a friend.

There were no eating utensils in the room and it was difficult to understand if the lounge was included with the room or if it is paid separately and how much it costs if so.
