This place has free fresh brewed coffee, free bikes, free sake every night, and amazing breakfasts (for a fee) AND a brand new incredible Finnish Sauna (for a fee). The dinner is not as good as the breakfast. But there are lots of amazing restaurants down the street. They are so good, you have to make a reservation or you won't get in. For only about 400 yen you can get a quick little train to Amanohashidate in one direction, or the outer coast of Japan in the other direction in about 20 minutes. It's a great central location to access the whole Tango peninsula. Everything is very modern and new in the rooms, such as shower, toilet, bed, TV, etc.

The economy room is a bit small. The dinner was not the best in the neighbourhood. But there's not much wrong with this place.

A very good breakfast spread. The hotel reopened after a renovation some time ago and the rooms are a decent size for a solo traveler. The entrance and the reception do not feel like a regular business hotel in Japan. The location of the hotel is just right for people who want to explore the sights of the Tango peninsula.

The bathroom is not very different from other business hotels in Japan. It was clean and functional but felt different from the room. I did not face any problems but I do wish the bathroom had been renovated to a newer look.

The room is extremely beautiful and comfortable, with high quality amenities.

The only challenge with Kyotango is that public buses and taxis are extremely sparse. But the staff at the hotel is so willing to help you figure things out - so do not feel shy to approach the front desk for help!

Clean and comfortable bed, room size is just about acceptable, any smaller will be inconvenient. Friendly and helpful staff.

One side of the double bed is against the wall making it less convenient to get in and out of bed especially at night.

Room was surprisingly spacious, much to our delight. As we were driving, location was not an issue. Breakfast was fine, typical authentic jap food, so choices were limited, but tasty (given its in suburbs / rural area). Overall, it was a great stay and we would love to stay here again if we come back to kyotango area.

The food is really nice with gift shop provided. I really like the gifts selection especially using recycle materials. The hotel also very neat and tidy, and not too tiny. So thanks again! kudos on the welcome drinks as well!

A little far from train station but manageable to walk around and familiar with places around the area.
