the availability of the staff who went out of their way to try to communicate despite the language difference

finding the external door closed several times which prevented one from leaving the hotel freely. For the rooms it was communicated that the door must be opened but leaving the hotel cannot be prevented. It created some anxiety!

Simple but efficient. Checkin and checkout by machine; however there is always staff to assist you.

Once inside, you can’t leave the room; it will be locked automatically. No breakfast.

The room look big and toilet is big.The train station is closed hotel.

The facilities are rather outdated.

The staff was very friendly, the location is very close to the metro station , the clines and facilities in our room was excellent.

The location was perfect for my needs. I went to the mountains in the north during the day and a party in the south in the evening. It was very easy to stop by and drop off things and get changed. The bath with the jets was exactly what I needed after the hike. Oh and the receptionist was excellent at communicating things to me even though my Japanese wasn’t very good!

I think the paper card is awkward. I was worried I would lose the card! Also telling people when we are leaving is a bit strange to me. I am not Japanese so this might be normal here!

Needing to call to leave the room for even a short time. I think this might be because we (foreigners) are not used to this

The hotel is beautiful, well located and clean. The staff are polite and welcoming. The hotel has free parking.

I didn't like that the room doesn't have the free basics. Towels and clothes are paid for, so take yours from home. I didn't like the smell of cigarettes in the room. They should leave the windows open or the air conditioning on before the guest arrives. Overall our stay was very good.

the sauna bath is worth trying

Everything else was very good! Staff friendly and polite, clean rooms, nicely decorated, big tv, comfy bed, nice big shower room with a jacuzzi.

The only thing I did not like was the strong perfume smell in the reception. It's just a bit overwhelming and unnecessary to have a strong smell like that when you walk in as not everyone likes that.

Would like a key for the people staying overnight.
