I stayed at this hotel a few years back when it was still a Marriott, so decided to return this time. We booked the standard room type, but when we arrived, we discovered that the hotel was undergoing renovation, and our room was one of the older types. I hated the non-refurbished rooms, they are old, musty, damp, and the lighting is terrible, so I decided to pay to upgrade to an executive level room, which had been refurbished. The refurbished rooms are a vast improvement on the old rooms, with very nice decorations, lighting, and amenities. The executive rooms also benefit from using the lounge on the ground floor, which offers breakfast, snacks throughout the day, cocktails and food in the evening. I loved the amenity store on the ground floor, where you can find all the standard in room amenities, but allowing you to take only what you need to avoid waste. The shop on the ground floor also has an extensive range of food available at very reasonable costs. Breakfast in the main restaurant was quite good, with plenty of Japanese and western options. The pools are very extensive, with lots of different options. As it was winter, only two sections were open, but that was fine.

Communication from some of the staff was severely lacking and English skills were all around quite poor. Apparently when the temperature drops to 20 degrees Celsius or below, they switch from air conditioning to heating, and they can't control it room by room. For me, this made the room incredibly uncomfortable, as 20 degrees is still quite warm for me. They eventually rectified, but it was painful trying to communicate with the front desk. Some of the facilities around the pool need a good refurbishment. You absolutely need a car to stay here, I wouldn't even consider it without one. The hotel is quite remote. The breakfast in the lounge could definitely use more options.

The location of the bar didn't work well for us i.e. it was just off the reception area and also the air conditioning was very strong which made it cold. This air conditioning is probably on high as it supports the main atrium but this didn't make the bar a pleasant place to relax The closure of the outdoor pool from 1st Nov seemed a bit odd when the hotel was full of families and the weather was very good - this didn't affect us but is more of an observation on behalf of those with families

Thanks to the kindness and thoughtful care of the staff, we had a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. The stamp event for children and the toy our child received brought so much joy and created a lovely memory for our family. Although we only stayed one night, the breakfast was incredibly impressive with its wide variety and great taste. The view from our room was breathtakingly beautiful, and the heated pool allowed us to enjoy swimming with our child even into the evening. It was also a perfect spot to watch the sunset. This hotel was the most beautiful and happiest place we experienced during our trip to Okinawa. If we return to Okinawa in the future, we would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you so much to the hotel for providing such a stunning view and unforgettable memories.

If I were to mention one minor downside, it would be that the hotel is a bit far from outside shops and restaurants, making it a bit difficult to walk to places like convenience stores or local eateries.

Very nice, new and spacious room, heated indoor and outdoor pools, tasty food. You need to book a table for breakfast and dinner but it is convinient (online for breakfast, by phone for dinner) and thanks to that the restaurant is not overcrowded. You can take out the food and coffee too.

Outdoor pool opens at 3pm (winter season), there is a big variety but the food is not changing between days (6 nights stay). You need to walk or drive to the beach (but it is not that far away). In japanese restaurant the staff do not speak English and it is a bit difficult to comuniate as they are not really able to provide instructions on how to order etc.

I like the space of the room, it is very spacious, clean. and a nice view of the sea. The toilet light is very bright. The room walkway is also very clean and good walking space. The hotel is very busy and there are many people around so make the place very lively with many children and families. The staff are very friendly and helpful and some speak English too. They have many activities in the hotel, especially on New Year's Eve where they have a performance and we get to see the fireworks by the poolside and doing a countdown to 2025. It was very nice experience. Great job! The breakfast spread was very good and the buffet dinner has such a wide spread. Very good!

What we did not really like is the shower area. Because it is frosted glass at the shower area, so when the lights are on, we can actually see the person's body outline when showering. It is nice maybe to install either a blind or curtain on the side of the bedroom, so it allows one to close the blinds or curtain so that we can have some privacy when showering.

Nice ambiance, comfort and location! Amazing room, very spacious and stunning views. Some services are exclusive and come with additional purchase (the spa - onsen, is extra charged). The pool and outdoor area were not available, under maintenance. These were not informed during the booking. The breakfast buffet is incredible, with western and Asian options. We had the chance to try their exclusive Japanese style breakfast, which was outstanding! Recommend to try it - cannot be reserved in advance, so make sure you wake up early and line for it. We extended our stay here, +2 days. It was very convenient and accessible by car. Good to explore the central and northern areas of Okinawa. Also pretty close to the airport (about 1hr drive).

We just got back from a fantastic 6-day vacation in Okinawa and I couldn’t have picked a better hotel! From the warm, customer-focused staff to the delicious food and stunning location, everything exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to the 9th floor. The room was immaculate, and the bed was incredibly spacious. We especially loved the large corner window, which offered an amazing view of the ocean. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. The service was exceptional. The pools were fantastic, featuring both indoor and outdoor options with hot water. We thoroughly enjoyed our days at the hotel and exploring the island, but six days simply weren’t enough to uncover all the beauty this place has to offer. We hope to have the chance to return to Okinawa and spend more than a week there next time. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose it again.

The hotel offers a very, very comfortable stay in a great location, combining relaxation and adventure. Very spacious rooms, complete with balconies, provide a peaceful escape with stunning views. We would for sure recommend the hotel to our friends and choose it again. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot and people working at the hotel are very cordial and nice. The hotel’s variety of amenities, from indoor and outdoor pools to a fully equipped fitness center, make it easy to stay active. Everything is clean and good quality. The sauna in SPA is around 100 Celsius and people properly respect the sauna rules. It’s also cheap - the SPA (sauna, different pools and relaxation place) is total 3500 yen as of 2024 if you book for 3 or more days. They even have a shop inside the hotel with many, many things and local gifts. They have a big parking if you drive yourself from the airport. Overall a great hotel, we really, really enjoyed it. One thing to consider is that the hotel is very popular with families with small children, so just have that in mind. It’s not a problem, but just to keep in mind.

Huge pool area and waterslide. Large rooms. Two options for breakfast - Japanese fine dining (limited to 100 servings each day) and Qwachi, although says Western has some Japanese options (natto, curry, omusubi, miso soup). Qwachi is great for families. Ample parking. Beach access 2 mins by shuttle or 5-10 mins walk. Great location for visiting Churaumi Aquarium and Busena Marine Park. Convenient location if you have a car. Join the rewards club to get discount on Qwachi buffet dinner.

Breakfast wait was a little long at times and I couldn’t get SMS notification to work. Limited selection for in-room dining and no room service, take out only. Would be nice if more non-dairy options available and labelled at breakfast eg no soy milk was available.
