It is really in a very unique location and the owner/host is extremely helpful and warm hearted.

There isn’t anything I really didn’t like. I would just want to pre-warn any visitors, arriving by train that you need to be in the first compartment of the train in order to get out at the JR station. This is something I didn’t know, and therefore had to continue until the next station - but kindly enough the host picked me up there and rescued me.

This was supposed to be only a stop-over on our way to Nagasaki but ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our Japan trip! The location of the hostel is next to the train station right next to the sea. Our hostess was very nice and welcoming. Rooms are simple but nice, the showers and bathrooms are on the first floor (communal). We didn't find any restaurant to have dinner, so our hostess invited us to this "little party" in the town, where a lot of local people gathered, ate curry and made music - we had a lot of fun!

This hostel is such a hidden gem. The amazing hosts went above and beyond to help us settle in, they recommended us the restaurant in front of the station and we had some of the best seafood we've ever tasted. They were also super sweet to our 2 year-old son, and their kindness made him so happy. The hostel itself was very comfortable and conveniently located next to the beautiful Chiwata Station. We had a lovely breakfast before we left and wished we could have stayed for longer. I'd recommend a tour of the area just to be able to stay at this lovely hostel.

It is a very quiet and beautiful place, suitable for travelers who like scenery.It has an unbeatable sea view and friendly people. This will definitely be a place full of beautiful memories for me. I highly recommend it.

Nice & compact room in a japanese house, hidden near train station of Chiwata.

You may hard to find choices of eateries since it a bit distant from town, but for easy going person this won’t be a problem.

We stay here for 4 nights. The host is sooooo nice. She tried to help us with everything. The room is clean and cozy. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location beside Omara Bay. The hosts were charming and helpful. Facilities are excellent, stylish and artistic.

Great host - kind, helpful, and speaks English. Right by the train station and a nice izakaya bar. Great facilities, and the dorm room was comfy with a nice view.

The room is very close to the train tracks, so there could be a noise issue
