Love the ambience of the property. A bit olden but complete with the necessary facilities. Good breakfast included. The hosts were very hands on and Mr Nomura-san is just the kindest. He treated us as more than just guests. Our rental car got stuck in the snow in the middle of the night and Mr Nomura helped us get back to the hotel safely and even arranged for the tow truck. This is at 1am in the middle of winter. Thanks for helping.

We had to check out a day early but it’s not the hotel’s fault. The lesson is…always rent cars (if you’re heading to Nagano) with snow tires on.

The hosts were so accommodating and very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and delicious food available.

We wanted to be able to stay up a little longer to play games and hang out but the communal rooms all close by 23:00 so this wasn’t possible

The view from the hotel is amazing. Shirakabako Lake is really beautiful so it's great that it's walking distance from the hotel. There are lots to do and see near the lake.

Convenient location, We could walk to the ski station. The entity house is very clean.

Becareful if you want to go there by public transportation!! It's possible but the bus schedule stop very very early.

Wonderful location, everything newly renovated, very welcoming owners and staff - who aim to provide an „Italian Alps“ experience and succeed, adding a touch of Japanese comfort here and there - great breakfast and a quiet working area with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains.

It is quite close to the bus station,and with a well equipped kitchen. The room and public area are very clean and tidy. Great stay choice for those who plan to travel around Shirakabako.

Hosts were very kind and helpful, facilities were great, and the place was very spacious. Breakfast was nice and they offered a free bicycle ride which was fun to go around the lake. Great location for lake access, would recommend!

The owner was so kind. They offer a really nice breakfast out of charge and you can rent ski and snowboard gear really cheap. we saved a lot of money thanks to them, and our stay was perfect. Totally recommend
