What surprised me was how much height the bed had. Admittedly, I am a 5'3(161cm) tall woman so I am on the shorter side, however I loved that I could comfortably fully stand up on the bed to get around. Was a pretty standard narrow bed for actual width. Overall it served its job as a place to rest, and the closeness to the station made it easy to get around Tottori. Everything is very clean, and the card system is extremely convenient. The free drink was appreciated, and I absolutely made use of the free beverages available in the morning (everything from coffee to OJ)

Personal thing and a risk with every hostel - another lady during my stay was sick so I unfortunately got sick from this stay.

I like the room layout and that it wasn't a bunk bed style hostel. I found it really clean and comfortable. There's an under bed storage for your luggage where you're able to lock and keep safe. There's also a safe inside the capsule. Overall, stay was very comfortable for me. They also had welcome drinks from 6-9pm on the day you checkin. Sadly, I didn't take advantage of this.

To enter the 6 bed female dorm, you have to go through the 8 or 10 bed female dorm. So there were 2 doors to go through when going in and out. It's a lot of doors when you have to carry things to take a shower, but it was ok. The washing machine was all in one, so when I did my laundry, my clothes weren't completely dry. A few of my clothing were still damp, so I had to find space in the capsule to hang.

If you are traveling solo in Tottori then Drop Inn is perfect place. I had stayed here for 2 nights and have awesome experience of this hostel. The location is 3 minutes walk to Tottori train/bus station. Close to restaurants and a mall. The bedspace had ample and breathable space which is generous in a capsule standard. It has comfy bed, blanket pillow, personal locker, tv. The shared shower and toilet are spotless are well maintained. Bath Towel, shaving razor, toothbrush and earplug are free. The guest lounge is well decorated and love the vibes there. I spend so many hours there for creative tasks. There is welcome drink after 6PM. The staffs are very welcoming and had great experience with them.

More capsule hotels should be like this! The hotel has an amazing shared area, and they even gave us free drink tickets on our first night. The capsules are large, you can almost stand up in them, you have a secure area for your own luggage underneath your own capsule, and they're a single level - meaning you're not sleeping under or over anyone! The staff is also AMAZING! I had an issue because I forgot my charger in my capsule, and I emailed the hotel and the staff mailed my charger without any issues. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone else!

The 6 bed room is separated from the 12 bed room, but still inside it - meaning it's a large room with 18 beds. This is a bit difficult to understand from the pictures they posted here - or at least I didn't notice it. This means that there's the noise of 12 other people somewhat closer than you'd expect.

Super close to the station and easy to find. Really friendly staff. Free drinks and oden on arrival! Very clean and modern facilities. Spacious shower rooms and toilets and lots of vanity sinks. Room was very secure and comfortable. I could nearly stand up in the capsule and I’m 179cm😳. Bed was comfy and i had a really good sleep. There is a tv in each bed and storage lockers inside the capsule and underneath for big suitcases. Free drinks in the lobby in the morning. Highly recommend!

One of my best hostel experiences this trip! The staff was very kind and helpful! Check in was smooth, a free drink was included. The bed was spacious and had a tv inside!! I didn't need or use it, but having it was cool. There was a small shelf to put your things! Hangers and small cabinet to lock in your valuables at your bed! Both powerstation and usb ports available too. Slippers and towels were provided! The female floor was clean and had all essentials and more! Was super happy about the cotton pads and make up remover. Very close to the station! The cafe had good music and cosy atmosphere. Everyone was using it and there was a kitchen available. Easy access to cold and boiling water! Overall I loved my stay! If I go to tottori again I would love to stay here again! Thank you so much.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The lounge is spacious and you'll get a welcome drink. The hostel is really close to Tottori Station and bus stop so it's really convenient if you choose to use public transport. The room is spacious and unlike many hostel, they aren't bunk bed. They also have showers and toilets in each floor.

Staying at Drop Inn Tottori was a wonderful experience, staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had booked beds on the women's only floor, and it was spacious, clean and well equipped. Each individual bunk included 2 lockers, hangers, different plugs and a TV (which we didn't use). A little extra service were the free amenities and drink ticket for one of their cocktails, which tasted amazing. I would definitely stay there again. Nothing to complain, very beautiful accommodation.

The location is very good. 5 minutes walk from the Tottori station. There is one locker next to the bed for traveler to put something important. This is a considerate design. Due to the good outline, suitcase locker is beneath the bed, no bed under or upper me, I feel less compressed to sleep in this dormitory.

There is a fragrance smell which I dislike in the dormitory.

The hostel is pretty cool, and they even offer you free welcome drinks. It's in a good location close to the train station and dining options. The staff are friendly and speak good English.

Unfortunately, like lots of capsule hostels this place isn't for light sleepers. If the creaking door doesn't wake you up, other guests will. They do offer ear plugs when you arrive, so it's worth using them.
