We found the Japanese breakfast not to our taste to start the day. After the staff noticed we hadn’t eaten anything very kindly brought use some fruits and yoghurt. Next morning huge plate of fruits and yoghurt were served to us, amazing.they also booked restaurants for us and a massage. Amazing service with their limited English and our zero Japanese such lovely people.

Booking .coms name for the hotel was nothing like the signs to hotel, so found it very hard to find. Nowhere days it say hotel Umi no terrace, very confusing.

We had a beautiful large room with a hot tub and ocean view. I can highly recommend the ocean view rooms - the higher price is absolutely worth it! The room was clean and super large, with a large New TV incl. Netflix and Youtube access. Hot tub was absolutely amazing with a great view next to our terrace. Staff was friendly and breakfast was quite good. Even though it wasn't a Buffet and you couldn't choose what to eat, the quality and amount of food was good! There is a small beach and Pool directly at the hotel. Almost all time when we used any of them we were completely alone. Quite quiet hotel and location - perfect to relax.

So glad we stayed here after checking out some of the other hotels on the island. This place is the best because not only is it a stunning location, clean, great staff - but you have your own private beach PLUS a pool. They supply you with everything you need - bikes, snorkel gear, paddle boards, floaties. You get free drinks and snacks from 3pm-10 pm. You never want to leave! Also there are amazing restaurants walking distance from the hotel so everything you need is right there. My friend and I did get a rental car so we could drive from the airport and go to the aquarium and check out other spots on the island - and it was worth it! renting the car was cheap and i would recommend you do that as well.

everything was perf!

The location is right at the beach. Could not be better for the view and fresh ocean air. We could make full use of the beach because the hotel offers snorkeling equipment, paddle boats, etc to use for free. The evening drinks and snacks by reception were a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery within walking distance. The beds were large and comfortable. Everything was clean, including the balcony tubs. The staff were very nice and so helpful! The ladies were very patient with my language barrier and really appeared to care that we enjoyed the stay.

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Umi no Terrace. We wanted to stay in the Yomitan area and the location was perfect for us. The area is quiet but with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The staff were all friendly, warm, and accommodating. We paid for the tasty hotel breakfast which alternated between traditional Okinawan breakfast and Western breakfast. The beach was lovely and quiet and at night is beautifully lit up with string lights. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and there was coin laundry available in the hotel. We did not have the opportunity to use them, but there is a pool under the hotel deck and equipment available for ocean activities. We loved our stay at Umi no Terrace and would absolutely stay there again in the future!

Was somewhat hard to find in the dark.

Perfect Hotel in perfect setting and kindest staff ever. It is a luxury place with well equipped huge rooms. Breakfast is awesome! The private beach is best on the whole island with all kinds of beach tools you can dream of: SUP, sea kayak, snorkeling tools, life vests, floats of several kind. Free drinks and snacks in the afternoon. Konbinis far and you can ride the free bikes to visit them. Any requests we had night and day the people at reception provided immediately. Thank you soo much for your kindness!

Nothing whatsoever

For a rainy week in Okinawa, this was the best place to stay and relax. We didn't have a car so spent our time at the hotel or just walking around Yomitan. The King Suite room was spacious and offered not only beautiful views, but comfy seats to wield the days away playing games. The free happy hour each day with drinks and snacks was a welcomed addition. We absolutely loved the private beach, especially when it was all lit up at night. The snorkel and paddle boards were a nice addition and perfect for whenever the sun did shine, we were able to quickly take advantage of them. Breakfast was filling and the varied options was nice to mix up each day. I could have stayed another week -- this is a hidden gem!

Staying at this wonderful hotel made our vacation in Japan just perfect. The hotel has everything you need for a calm and relaxing holiday: private beach, pool, jacuzzi in the room and free drinks and snacks in the afternoon. Furthermore you can rent bikes and snorkeling equipement for free. The breakfast was diverse with japenese and continental food. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood with many great restaurants reachable within walking distance. The staff was very kind and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place.

A very charming hotel located in a very quiet area of the island. The hotel sits right above a small private beach area overlooking the beautiful ocean. The breakfast is a set menu but filled with western and local foods. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Staff are friendly and helpful.

No vending machines. The hotel is isolated with the nearest convenience store a good 10 minute walk away so make sure to bring your own drinks and supplies.
