I really like Megapolis hotel - the rooms are clean and spacious, the location is excellent, very close to the restaurant and shopping malls here. The staff is particularly amazing - everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating, during my previous stay I had to catch an early flight and the staff were so courteous as to arrange me a room service breakfast at 4 am! In addition, Nuray at the reception is amazing - she will help find any solution for transfers/late check outs. In general, this is the best hotel in Shymkent in my opinion. The breakfast is fresh and mostly organic with farmers honey and dairy products, vegetables (grown locally in the villages close to Shymkent).

The staff was extremely helpful and had a good grasp of English. The air conditioning in our second room (see below) worked well in the summer and the room itself was large. The breakfast had a good selection and omelets were made to order. The area around the hotel was mostly quiet. The hotel is located close to some good restaurants (like Pecorino just one block away) and a medium-sized shopping mall.

Parts of the hotel are showing their age: the elevator was very noisy and didn't feel completely safe. The shower in the bathroom was very tricky and was either very hot or very cold. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in our bathroom on two occasions, even though we don't smoke. The smoke must have been drawn in from outside or another room, but it didn't feel very healthy. We had booked a suite, but the air conditioning was not working (and was really needed in the summer heat). We were moved to a smaller room which did have air conditioning, but it was a shame we didn't have a suite anymore. Hopefully we will get the difference in price refunded.

Great new & clean facilities. Very good service. In my opinion, this is the best hotel in the city - I have been staying since 2021 and brought groups of foreign guests here. Everyone really enjoyed their time in the city & the hotel & also enjoyed the wonderful cuisine (the cheeseboard at the restaurant is amazing). The best stay in the city. The location is wonderful.

Location: perfect, in the center (10min walk to malls and central streets) but yet a very quiet place Facilities: the stadard room was very big and the bed easily fit 3 of us (2 adults and 4 year kid), just staying in the room was very pleasant, big windows with nice view, big bathroom, very clean and comfortable Breakfast: very nice breakfast, not too diverse but had everything needed for breakfast plus we ordered from restaurant and the food was good Staff: super friendly and nice

Lift was broken for 1 day but got repaired quickly I saw comments about poor noise isolation: this is probably true because we could hear noise only once but otherwise the hotel is really quiet and the location is a quiet place, so weak noise isolation is Not really a problem

Kamila, the lady at the reception, is truly an exceptional professional, a very warm and accommodating host which made my stay really great and feel like home. The hotel is new and the staff are super helpful and accommodating. The location is a great, great plus - everything in the city center is reachable by a short walk. I enjoyed also the restaurant a lot - they have a great selection of meat dishes and use local produce which is fresh and organic. Highly recommended! The rooms are very clean, spacious and have nice balconies. The breakfast is exceptional! A wide variety of choices, good organic produce and also fresh vegetables and fruit available. It’s possible to order the breakfast in the room which is very convenient.

I loved everything about Megapolis hotel. The best one in Shymkent by far.

Megapolis hotel is really good and comfortable place to stay and explore the city. Firstly, hotel’s stuff are very professional,hospitable. Also, hotel’s restaurant is very nice. Everything is really delicious and tasty. The portion size is big 😮‍💨

it was too hot in their small gym. the personnel managed to open the window which helped with the air. the price is a bit overestimated probably.

It was a real surprise for me, to find such a good hotel in this zone. Big rooms, comfy beds, tasty breakfast, helpful staff. Highly recommended!
