The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, going above and beyond to help us. The rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice with good choice and selection of coffee. We also had meal in the restaurant which we really enjoyed. Also plenty of free parking.

Disappointed to find the restaurant was shut - but it was Bastille Day and it would have been nice to be pre-warned on the website about the reduced facilities. However, it was only a short walk into the town centre where we fund a hotel serving food.

Easy to find, friendly staff, quiet rooms.

As a weary pilgrim, it was great to be able to run a warm bath.

The man who welcomed me on my first day in the lobby was absolutely great. Very friendly and goodhearted fellow. Unfortunately, though, I was not very happy with cleaning staff the next day. First of all, I was awoken a little before nine o’clock because suddenly the door to my room openend, probably cleaning staff checking if I had already left or not. Didn’t really appreciate to wake up like this. I really needed rest. Then, hours later, I was rather aggressively called and notified by staff that I had to leave the room. This was around 11:30 AM. Whereas I had been told that checkout was at 12:00. I had to rush to grab all my belongings and prepare for my next journey, feeling stressed and hurried for no reason… Cleaning staff gave me very unfriendly, grumpy faces when I left the hotel at 11:45, 15 minutes before official checkout time. Please don’t treat future customers like this. If checkout is at 12, customers may leave at 12:00. The interaction I had was unpleasant, and totally unnecessary as far as I am concerned.

Location and silence.

Quite old hotel. Would be good to be renewed.

Poor shower room, mouldy and dark with poor lighting. Looks like a scene from Schindler’s list 🤦‍♂️

the room very very shabby and the internal door between rooms was damaged so that the other room could have got into my room if they tried
