A nice hotel in the very centre of the city of Ludza. So, the location can be considered as superb. Moreover, there was a beautiful view of a church from a hotel window which was very close to the hotel. The staff of the hotel is very friendly, ready to help at every moment. There is a very good restaurant at the hotel. In fact, it is the only restaurant in the city, but the quality of meals and service is good. The breakfast was very nourishing and tasty with variety of different dishes you can order while visiting. A parking is available in front of the hotel. There are ruins of the medieval castle not far from the hotel and two beautiful lakes. By the way, Ludza is the oldest city of Latvia.

The stile of the hotel is a little bit resembling some features of the Soviet times. But this doesn't matter. Maybe this is even somewhat special and attractive for some guests.

A perfect place to experience culture a bit different from the rest of Latvia with really friendly people and hotel reminding of a Soviet time county centre rooms looking like dormitory from a bygone era. Great value for money with all the necessary in place and really good restaurant at the basement.

Nothing bad happened but the mattress and the bed felt as if the bed spring would spike the ribs at any time and the legs give way.

The location is the best — on the central square of Ludza, close to all few attractions of this tiny town

I would say to provide guests with coffee/tea facilities would be very helpful — in the evening Ludza is dead, so there is nothing to do except staying in the room… And to have simple home shoes would be nice…

The staff is very kind and helpful, and the breakfast served in the cellar is very good but definitely not for vegetarians/vegans. The location of the hotel is also great, if you enjoy some quiet time in a town full of helpful people. You can even find some excellent pizzas in the city, and should you need it, the pharmacy is only a few meters away from the hotel. Overall, this is the perfect place, if you're just passing through and need a comfortable place to stay, or if you would like to see a small but beautiful city. Even the nearby park is taken care of, and my visit included the smell of freshly cut grass.

You can always find something to point out, but as long as you don't expect a 5 star hotel, you'll be satisfied with your stay. However, if you're a light sleeper, you may be disturbed by the noise from other rooms due to the walls being very thin.

Super nice location and very friendly staff. The view from the windows was very nice. We were were allowed to take our dog with us with a small fee. The rooms were spacious and very clean.

The tap water is not very pleasant also breakfast could be a bit better.

Great location in a beautiful town. My family fled Ukraine war via Latvia, and stayed here for a night, it was a lovely break from the events. The night staff on their arrival and the receptionist were absolutely delightful, friendly and happy to feed them despite the late arrival, morning receptionist, unfortunately, not so pleasant. Lovely place altogether, just bring your own toiletries.

Breakfast for 5 EUR per person is very delicious. Also every day cafe is open for guests. Staff is very friendly. You can get hair drier and teapot. Nearby is Maxima shop. Location is in center of Ludza.
