We liked the room (size, comfort & cleanliness). We felt that breakfast was jusf average b'coz we went down around 8 AM and noted that not all selections were complete/ still available.

The gravvy (Kuah Lodeh) for the Lontong were not kept warm, choices of bread & pastries were very limited, plus the condiments for Nasi Lemak (were also) not topped up. Overall, not worth the prices paid per pax.

I used to like omelette, crossaint, wedges and the fresh milk for breakfast in Pine Tree Hotel. The location are very suitable and comfortable for customer to enjoy breakfast there.

What I don't like is Pine Tree Hotel does not provide enough soap for customers to use. I hope the hotel side can provide larger soap containers that are suitable for filling more soap, not just soap in small bottles and small packets. Thank you.

Room - everything worked well except the fridge in one of the rooms. Cleanliness is very good. Breakfast - excellent variety with excellent taste. Nasi dagang, nasi kerabu, mee bandung and laksa johor were pleasant surprises. Kudo to the chef and kitchen crews. Location - good, wish there are more restaurants around Staff - excellent attitude, very friendly and very welcoming

Safe to say my expectation were exceeded. The rooms were refurbished. The room interior was nicely done. Even had wireless chargers for each side of the bed. Water pressure was excellent. There was iron and ironing board provided. Laundry bag were also provided. 2 of toohbrush sets and soaps. Body and hair shampoo 1 each. Two big towels and one small towel. 4 pieces of cotton buds. 2 extra pillows were given in the wardobe so there's 4 pillows overall. Windows were big so we had good daylight. Decent amount of tv channel. So overall is good value for money.

Fridge wasn't cool because the temp was set at 1 and water was seeping out. Adjusted the fridge temp but was still not cool for a while. Didn't check it the next morning because we forgotten all about it. We just make do because we were only sleeping there for 1 night.

The bed was super comfortable and there were extra pillows. The blanket was comfortable too. The water pressure was strong and the hot water was up to temperature. Another plus point was the breakfast; where it was surprisingly good.

The television channels were a bit of a let down. There were limited breakfast choices but what they had, they did it very well. There was no elevator access to the parking space so luggage had to be hand carried up a flight of stairs.

Location: The hotel is located right at the northern edge of Batu Pahat town. Easy to find and one can access the hotel without the usual hassle of negotiating traffic jams within the city. There are a few durian stalls along the Batu Pahat - Yong Peng Road. They sell good durians at a fraction of the prices within the Klang Valley. It took me less than 15 minutes from the hotel to reach the durian vendors. There are a few good coffee shops in Batu Pahat town, easily accessible from the hotel. There are 2 good biryani outlets in Batu Pahat town. Both are only a few minutes from the hotel.

The room I occupied is big. I think another device 18" will make the room feels a lot roomier.

The hotel staff shows dedication in delivering their work and excellent hospitality. Love the Batu Pahat view from the room.

Booked in a queen and single bed, the rest of facilities are adequate except for lack of power points for charging. Only one available at end corner of the room for hp charging, ironing, laptop charging and boiling water.

The 3 rooms we had were comfortable & clean. The breakfast spread was excellent, salute to Pinetree chefs! (Incl local dishes, good selection of bread/buns), staff were friendly & helpful.

Not too important, the phone lines in 2 rooms were faulty. Toiletries can be provided more for twin sharing rooms, 1 small rube of shower liquid wasn't enough :(

Loved the rooms as it comes with a view, loved the breakfast ( the chicken rendang was awesome as always) as there are varieties

What is there not to like..everything was superb but if the good hotel could furnish certain rooms with smart TV/Android TV facilities then it would be two thumbs up great.

Clean, well maintained, working tv, staff were polite and helpful. Hotel has basement parking which was good even though the parking spots were quite tight.

There was a weird smell in the room. Hard to describe but was like the smell at a chicken barn. Aircond had a faint creaking sound when set to swing but not a big deal.
