The room was an excellent size and located on a corner of the building with great views over the town of Tana Rata and the surrounding hills, including excellent photo opportunities for sunrises and sunsets! This was one of the only hotels I've ever stayed in that had a deep stainless-steel sink next to the tea/coffee making facilities which was separate from the vanity basin in the bathroom. Great for easily washing cups, etc as well as items of clothing. Room also had a small lounge area with settee and TV and plenty of hanging space for clothes. Breakfast had a good variety of food offerings. There is a large basement car park which was convenient for unloading and loading luggage as there is little parking in the street. Tanah Rata is an excellent base from which to visit other places in the Cameron Highlands. We had a car and driver (who drove us from Penang to KL, via the Cameron Highlands) which made getting around very simple. Within easy walking distance of the hotel there are some good eateries as well as medical services including pharmacies and a late-hours clinic which we needed to visit in an emergency - the service was very professional and medication was available to buy on the premises, which was fortunate as the pharmacies in town had already closed for the evening.

When we arrived, it was very difficult to locate the actual entrance to the hotel. The address listed is C-3 Jalan Camelia, which is correct, however Google Maps will show the hotel on the south-east corner of the block. The actual entrance to the hotel is via a poorly signposted narrow passageway right next to the Pizzarella-Misokimchi restaurant in Jalan Camelia, on the west side of the block, about half-way between Persiaran Camelia 4 and Jalan Mentigi Utama. You have to take a lift to the hotel lobby.

Location: The hotel is near the shops and markets. You can just go out and walk around. The hotel is combined with a mall however it is safe as you need a keycard to access the hotel floors. Parking: Easy, free parking in the property Breakfast: Food was delicious and delightful. Room: The room is big, comfortable, and clean. Provided with kitchenette, a sofa, the view was nice as well from our balcony. Staff: such excellent and helpful staff.

There was no towel when we arrived but was sent promptly when we complained.

Lovely, cozy rooms and great view of the mountains from the level 7 balcony. The rooms were spacious and nicely maintained. Housekeeping staff was very courteous and their service was wonderful. Kids playground was enjoyable. Location being central to the marketplace is a big plus. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at the 2BR Premim suite at Avillion Cameron Highlands and we'd highly recommend it for family vacation stays.

Breakfast could have been more inclusive with additional vegetarian/vegan options. We had to rely only on bread and fruits. It'd be nice to get more Indian vegetarian food options in the menu.

Spacious, good view, good ventilation, with fridge, good breakfast, and friendly staff.

Living area & master room no ceiling fan(but standing fan was provided in master room)..cleanliness was ok(but can be improved). Floor abit slippery(but slippers provided).

The room was big and 4 people could stay comfortable. Nearby walking distances have many shops to eat.

The lobby in 3rd floor of the mall. No clear direction connection to lobby. Customer need to park at basement to go lobby and check-in. I gave face insecure incident when initial no towel inside the room. Then I went out for dinner and back saw there is towel inside my room. I'm shocked and refer reception who enter my room. I have been informed room service mistakenly enter the room to keep the towels. I felt this is insecure when I travelling with kids. I hope this not happen to any other customer.. As well the breakfast selection are few only and not worth.

The hotel is located inside a small shopping center. The location is prime and close to many shops around and a lot of tourists attractions. The staff was amazing. The breakfast could improve, especially for international visitors. I would highly recommend the hotel given the nature of the hotels around the area.

The breakfast spread is very good. There were some varieties of Omelette and good salad etc. The top floor (7th floor) had a great view of the island. The staff were very friendly and went extra mile to help me out on certain occasions. There are few shops just on the first floor and is worth buying if you are looking for tracks and tshirt. The prices are not greatly negotiable but still cheaper than KL China town deals.

The breakfast option does not have enough vegetarian options. They do serve you Fried Noodles / Rices (at no extra cost if you have paid for breakfast), but this will not satisfy you, if you are a full time vegetarian.

Comfy unit reminiscent of home. Centrally located near good eateries and mini pasar malam. Hence the reason we're back a 2nd time. The weather was cold this time round. Going down as low as 15°C.

Only the breakfast was a far cry from its former glory when we 1st stayed in mid Dec 2018. My wife and kids remembered the colored black and yellow pastry bread for breakfast and the sumptuous spread along the travelator lining. 🚽 size was also small too!
