This was my second stay at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur — this time with my family, and we booked two rooms. Overall, the experience was once again excellent. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city center, which makes it ideal for both tourists and business travelers. The facilities, cleanliness, room comfort, and overall service are truly commendable. However, I faced an issue at the reception during both of my stays. This time, despite booking two rooms, the staff assigned us rooms on different floors, which created inconvenience for the family. It was sorted out later after almost 2nd day. Similar reception-related confusion happened during my first stay as well. That said, the rest of the stay was perfect, and I still highly recommend the hotel for its affordable pricing, comfortable environment, and overall service quality. I do hope that the reception/front desk team improves their coordination, as this would make the guest experience flawless. I would certainly continue choosing this hotel for my future visits to Kuala Lumpur — it’s one of the best in its class.

The location and the service.

Didn't like the buffet breakfast because even though you had a lot of international crowd they catered towards only malaysia crowd. As we were not a malaysia, all the dishes were absolutely bad and tasted sweet, with use of alot of sweet suaces. Being a marriot brand we expected a better food quality. If you an international crowd and looking for a good food thinking it is a marriot brand, then I hope you look for another hotel.

The location was great, close to public transport and to cafes/restaurants. Breakfast was tasty and had lots of choices.

Mouldy sealants in bathroom. The bedcover had strange stains which was switched out immediately.

Very very prompt Housekeeping, the room was cleaned everyday without fail by the time we finished breakfast and came back to our room.. fabulously maintained hotel. Located close to Medan Tuanku station and not too far from KLCC.. Grab cabs were always available.. the Jalan Doraiswamy beside the hotel has various pubs, pizzerias and good restaurants.. Quill city mall bang opposite the hotel has restaurants and cafés.. very great location and the views from the hotel room were amazing. Overall, we loved staying in this hotel.. not to forget, fabulous breakfast too..

It is also within close proximity to the iconic Petronas Towers, a major attraction in Kuala Lumpur. One of the highlights of the hotel is its incredible breakfast. The variety is impressive, with a vast selection of dishes covering almost an entire floor—ensuring there’s something for every palate. A special mention goes to Mr. Anwar at the Concierge. He is an exemplary manager, always going above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. His dedication to customer service truly stands out. I highly recommend Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel to anyone visiting the city, and I will definitely choose to stay here again.

Location - central to wherever we want to go, either Grabcar or Monorail. Service - staff are always so friendly and accommodating (shout out to Joey!) Comfort & amenities - love the rooms (especially as a family with 2 adjoining rooms), the beds are super comfy, the pool & gym are excellent Food - the Executive Lounge as well as Essence have the best food (the latter being the primary reason my family wanted to stay here again! Lol)

Very spacious room, comfortable. The separate walk-in closet is definitely a plus. Plenty of closet and drawer spaces in the room, plenty of counter surfaces too. The location is also very good. The Medan Tuanku Monorail Station is literally at its doorstep, makes it easy to travel anywhere. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is not new, the toilet in the room is a bit outdated but clean and functional. But it's not the deal breaker for me, I would definitely stay here again.

The best thing I enjoyed about this hotel was its breakfast! It is the first time I experienced such a huge variety of food for breakfast, several international cuisines such as Japan, China, India, local food were all present. It was crowded (as expected) because we were there 31st December / 1st January, but the breakfast was a big treat! The location was super and near the Twin Towers (15minutes walk) - they had provided with facility to keep our luggage when we did a short trip to Bali. Staff was very nice as well.

The bathroom amenities appeared a bit old but nothing else to complain about.

We booked a night’s stay for a staycation. Although there was a slight delay during check-in, the courteous staff ensured the process was smooth. When we reported issues with the bathtub plug and shower head, the hotel promptly arranged a new room, which we appreciated. The breakfast was exceptional, one of the best we’ve had in a while. The swimming pool was clean, though not particularly child-friendly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few minor setbacks that were efficiently resolved.

The hotel should conduct regular maintenance checks on the pieces of equipment and plumbing to prevent inconveniences. In the new room, the floor was very cold with water condensation which made it slippery - a potential safety hazard. The air-conditioning vents need to be proofed and maintained to improve comfort.

Our stay at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur, although brief, was truly memorable. Despite arriving around 9 PM and encountering a busy lobby filled with tourists from China, India and the Middle East, we were warmly greeted by Liana Aladdin at the front desk. Her pleasant smile and efficient service ensured our check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The room was exceptional, exuding luxury and comfort, making our short stay feel like an indulgent retreat. One of the highlights of our visit was the morning buffet. Our 2-year-old, who usually isn't a morning person, was captivated by the friendly and entertaining staff. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness created an enjoyable dining experience that is rarely seen in other hotels. Chef Karthik stood out at his station, skillfully preparing omelets while engaging with guests and addressing their questions with ease. The waitstaff were equally impressive, promptly clearing and resetting tables with a level of professionalism that reflects well on the hotel's food and beverage management. The hotel's ambiance, with its beautiful arches and marble details, combined with the heartwarming hospitality of the staff, made every moment of our stay delightful. We loved every part of the atmosphere at Shearton Imperial Kuala Lumpur and look forward to our next visit.
