Stayed here for 12 nights and was very pleased with everything. The hostess Natalie and her crew of staff were amazing, very helpful and always a smile on their faces. Breakfast was very tasty and was different every day. Bed was comfortable and room was services whenever required or requested. There is a very good supermarket 250 metres away Also bus stops to either Mahebourg bus station or Blue Bay are directly in front of the supermarket. Go to the bus station and get a bus to virtually anywhere on the island for under £1, forget taxi rip off prices, going by bus is great fun, we went everywhere by them and without any problems. The Mauritian folk are wonderfully friendly WOULD I RECOMEND LE BOVALLON YES I WOULD 100% Not a luxury hotel but very comfortable indeed

lovely stay here, nathalie went above and beyond to make stay memorable. here for 3 weeks, good breakfast with sweet and savoury options/tea/coffee/juices 7am-9am downstairs room cleaning provided every other day with change of sheets, towels, mopping iron etc available on request car parking available nathalie let us stay until evening on day of checkout as we had flight in the evening close to airport, bovallon mall with lots of shops and eateries!

Very lovely place with easy acces to Mahebourg centre or the beaches around. We also hired bycicles which was a plus. The staff is very lovely

perfectly clean and the breakfast was a real bonus at this price, thank you.

Unless I missed some instructions I found it a little hard to find the entrance. Once you open the large white gate then you will see the sign for reception but its not immediately obvious from outside on arrival - see photo. There was a bell on the wall but i wasnt sure if it was for the entrance as it was in French which is clearly my fault, sorry. Comment is to assist future guests. I would stay again so dont be put off by the remark.

Nice accomodation, nice area, quite but with everything you need around. Nice Host and employees in the House, helping you to come along with the cyclone. Free bike Rental in the House: 15 min to Pointe desny and in the centre.

Unfortunately it is Not reachable by Bus. You Must either go by Bus to the centre and take a Shared Taxi or jump off the Bus near the mal to have a 15 min Walk.

Excellent value for money in a quiet neighbourhood. Just 400m to a large supermarket and 2k easy walk to the beautiful swimming and beach of Point d’Esny. It’s then another delightful 3k beach walk to Blue Bay with regular buses back. The small pool is ideal for a refreshing dip amongst tropical plants. My apartment was well equipped. Small breakfast included which is a bonus.

A very special place to stay close to Mahebourg. Unbeatable price/quality ratio. The rooms were clean, towels were changed whenever we wanted. Free parking in the building, so your car is safe. Very nice staff, Nathalia welcomed us very well, we arrived around 10 o'clock and we had to check in from 1 o'clock, but she gave us a room earlier without any problems. The hotel also has a small pool that we used every day, it was always clean, it's a big plus. The location is good, everything was close by car. Even a supermarket is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. On the day of departure, we went very early in the morning and Nathalie still packed breakfast for us. I have nothing to complain about and I highly recommend it.

A small portion on the breakfast, but it was really great! There were 4 beds together in the room, I thought they would be separated by partitions, no problem...

Friendly helpful, staff and welcomed with a cold fruit juice. Clean comfortable room. Our room was changed from the one we booked and ended up having a kitchen and washing machine that we did not expect. Small pool for use by guests. Nice breakfast included 7-9am. Walkable into Mahebourg or local bus from the nearby supermarket to Mahebourg or Blue Bay. Able to arrange taxi to the airport (not from the airport).

Very poor WiFi, connection off and on in the room and communal areas. Three flights of stairs up to the room.

Great atmosphere, very pleasant and helpful Owner and whole Staff! Everything was according to the description. Rooms were comfy, tidy and well equipped. Internet connection was very good and stable! Breakfast was delicious and various. We were with 8 months old child and he was well taken care of and also had a happy time :) Parking was safe (inside the building area). There were no issues with hot water or air conditioning - everything was working as it should!

Everything was great! For those traveling for short period just remember that some rooms are on 2nd or 3rd floor. That was not an issue for us with longer stay.

Nathalie and her sister and the staff are excellent..it’s a great place to stay and with the special ingredient that if anything went wrong you’d be confident that they would try and fix it..This was my second stay and if I went back to Mauritius I’d definitely stay there again.

Shower could be better ..it works ok but the pressure’s not great and that’s the worst I can think of to say so don’t be put off!
