Staff accommodated every request and hotel location is beautiful and Teak restaurant 5 course set menu was delicious

The external taxi drivers the hotel calls in for transfer to airport...they should be screened...our driver was impatient and rude

Great ressort with 3 wonderful beaches. The free water ski was a great advantage. Extremely clean and wonderful personnel. Never slept in a more comfortable bed. The food in the Thai restaurant was excellent. The hotel white wine is really good. Loved their campaign to protect nature, animals and support the community.

Overall breakfast could be improved, adding some tomatoes and cucumbers. As a person not eating carbohydrates, i was struggling.

We’ve been around the island and Shandrani is, according to us, by far in the best location! Its variety of own (3!) pristine beaches as well as proximity to public nice beaches, its beautiful views all around both above and under water with snorkeling right from the beach, the crystal clear shallow lagoon, its proximity to the airport as well as many of the main sights of the island all make this the ideal location. All rooms come with great views, are just steps from the beach, are spacious and very clean and comfortable. Although it’s a big hotel it’s set up and stretched in such a way that it never feels big or crowded and you will find yourself wondering through the lush landscaping without coming across many people. The facilities are endless, all included (even is you don’t book all inclusive) and offer fun for young and old, everything from snorkeling trips to paddleboards, or waterskiing and entertainment in the hotel or sports varying from a gym, tabletennis, tennis, golf etc.

Although there’s plenty of restaurants that offer a good variety of food, we had expected slightly better quality food. Also, two out of four restaurants are booked so far in advance that you have a small chance of going there. We could not book during our entire stay. As for booking, the same goes for activities. You have to queue long before the counter opens to have a spot.

We loved that it was only 7 minutes from the airport! Whatsapp: +230 5736 4029 for a taxi. We loved that this resort had 3 beaches. The gym and spa was one of the best for Mauritius resorts we have visited before. Special shout-out to Kavi that cleaned our room and all our belongings were perfectly safe there! Harsh was very helpful in arranging us a plug adaptor. Denis was super at meals and Anatree gave the best massage ever!!!

We were worried about the planes coming over the resort as its so close to the airport. We counted 6-8 planes a day and the noise lasts 4 seconds. So really not a big problem at all.

But too close to the airport, quite a lot of noisy planes!

Everything about this property is perfect! But: only for families with kids. It was my mistake to book it, I should have booked an adult-only hotel. Location, service, staff, food... just perfect. Unfortunately, not our cup of tea.

This is a fantastic family hotel. If you are a couple, without children, you’d better look for something else.

The resort is big and has a lot of customers but you do not have the feeling that the beaches or the pools are crowded. It has three different beaches, which is really nice depending on what you want to do (quiet bay, open ocean beach with big waves) They have plenty of water activities, all are for free (stand up paddle, water ski, kayaks...) and booking is uncomplicated. You do hear the planes from time to time but it is not really a disturbance. At the first sight you notice that the hotel room needs renovation, but in the end you are mostly outdoor and it is fine.

Restaurant availability was disappointing. We were there four nights and tried to book the restaurants just when we arrived but there were all fully booked. Apparently booking 4 nights in advance is not enough! You may want to try and book them before travelling! The buffet restaurant is ok, but repetitive after a couple of days.

Location is excellent, it's 10 minutes drive to airport, has plenty of sandy beach front, we can walk straight onto beach to snorkel from our back garden. Plenty of free water activities. Although you do hear passing planes from time to time. It didn't bother me, but if it bothers you, this may not be your choice of hotel. Staff are really friendly and ready to help.

We were given a free upgrade on our room and package on our arrival, which was a lovely surprise. Although halfway through our stay, we were told our package should not be upgraded, it was a bit disappointing on the change. Some hot food served in the bar and restaurants are cold. water drips down from the air conditioning in our room. The drain in our toilet starts to smell as day progressing.

Starting from the rooms, which were given to us as we had a baby were perfect. Close to dinner place, close to the beach and children's area. The cleaning staff did they work at a very high level. The food was great on all days we stayed. Especially meat and fish. A lot of things to do at the place and free activities all around. Bar staff was superb.

There were kayaks available only from 11:30. Staff was there every day from around 10:00. We would love to go there when it is not so hot. Why is it not available? Strange. Also, for volleyball, you have to go to the sport center everytime. Leave a ball at a bar or a few of them at kayaks. Also strange.

Too many people, had a bit of a cruise ship vibe.
