Everything went so good, I have never thought of it. Thanks to all the personnel especially Manuel/Manolo/Manolito , Jaime (alias 'Jimmy') who made it possible to visit Calakmul! No questions and rush regarding the check out, everything went so smooth. If you want to visit Calakmul this is the place to be. Wifi lots better than average, no drop outs, disconnections and intermittent service. Next to the hotel is a fast food restaurant with a variety of pizzas, pastas and Mexican fast fast food with very competitive prices. Next to the hotel, around the corner is 5he bus station and around the round about grocery stores, and more restaurants.

guy there with some English was really helpful, they can arrange a driver for you to go the Calakmul ruins, our driver also took us on a short jungle walk and then on the wat back to see the bats emerging from their cave at dusk, which was spectacular(all for a little extra money of course!), it's in the pizzeria, which is a couple of minutes from the bus stop, and does a pretty decent pizza too.

the bus timetable in the hotel seems to suggest there's a 9am bus to Chetumal, but that wasn't true the day I travelled, so maybe they could have an updated bus timetable

Hotel within a restaurant (pizzeria) accessible by a very close walk from the bus station. The room was clean and the mosquito net helpful during the night. Helpful staff. They recommended a driver to go to Calakmul who was great, stopping on the road to show us animals and waiting for us for 4.5 hours for 600 pesos per person. The staff also let us stay in the courtyard after our last visit and after the check out while waiting for the night bus to leave Xpuhil. Also, the pizzas from their pizzeria are good (we ate there twice in 2 days).

We had a room located in the courtyard and unfortunately there was bad smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom. However, this was nothing to complaint about regarding the price of the room.

It’s extremely close to the ADO. The Pizzeria in front of the hotel has excellent food, the staff were very friendly and the room, while small, was very comfortable, great AC and a nice hot shower. You can even arrange all of the trips to the ruins and the bat cave! Just outstanding

I stayed for 5 nights and 4 days in March. Usually, the hotel hosts asks the tourist if they want the room cleaned or when, if a number of days are used. In this case, I had to ask the host to clean the room, which was the day before I departed. My room was next to the car gate and back door. If a car arrived late at night, the sounds of parking and reversing woke me up. Also, when tourists use the back pedestrian gate, the gate is slammed shut. Not ideal, when tourists arrive late, and I am asleep.

Stayed here two nights in order to get to Calakmul Ruins. The hotel is exactly what it needs to be. An affordable comfortable place with a store nearby and restaurant attached. The room was small and the grounds were basic but that was perfect for us because it keeps the price low. Also the staff helped to organize a car to get to the ruins the next day which was invaluable! The wifi was strong enough to work from.

This is not a fancy place. I mean, its clean and is a perfect jumping off point to Calakmul ruins but if you're looking for lots of frills this place may not be for you.

Very confortable and calm while central and super easy to organize a tour to Calakmul through them. Host were really nice and welcoming. The pizza there is really good and prices are really low. Many birds singing at your door in the morning. Very hot shower

given the price we found this a good place to stay, it was clean, near the ADO, restaurants and a supermarket, AC and WIFI worked well, the pizza at their restaurant was really good, free drinking water

we arrived with the late bus at 10.30pm and nobody was there although we had written that we will come this late. we had to walk back to the busstation to ask someone to use their phone so we could call because our phones didn’t have any signal…

We sadely only stay one short night, 2 would have been better. We even had no Time to enjoy their pizza after Calakmul before taking the bus to chetumal. Clean room, confortable beds, Big bathroom. Our bus arrived at midnight and even at that time we received a great welcome.

We went to Calakmul with his contact manuel but the car was completely full and as I had the middle place it was really not confortable. Also check with the driver before leaving that you will have minimum 3hours there. Otherwise service is good

My third visit to the hotel. Stayed in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Friendly family run hotel. Close to ADO bus terminal. Good reception TV, watched the youtube channel. A fridge was outside, good for keeping water, cheese, chicken and fruit cold.
