Good location near a park and the subway. It is not 5* hotel so don't expect one :) For the money it is very good. Comfy bed, shower and toilet clean. Friendly and helpful staff, make sure you book with the breakfast, it's really worth; plenty to chose from. If you didn't you can pay by card there.

Really not much to say. It is worn out a bit but as I said it is not 5* hotel so good enough for the money. The only negative thing I can say is I asked for and invoice for the stay (once back in UK) I have never received but that is more up to their main website then to the staff there.

I recommend adding breakfast to your stay. Good value and selection. This was my first time to Mexico City and this location was conveniently located so that we could easily get to our guided tours. We stayed in Coyoacan and Roma Norte and this Alameda Ibis was so much more quiet!! This also was the only Hotel that had air conditioning! The filtered cool and hot water machines in the lobby were so nice too. Its tiring to always go to the store to buy filtered water. Thank you!

It's an affordable hotel that feels somewhat up-market in a wonderful location. I never had any issues in the hotel or anywhere in the surrounding areas. I liked the location because I was able to walk to the historic centre and Chapultepec Park. The buffet breakfast was also really good!

This may have been due to the language barrier, but I right after I booked, I received an email saying VAT and ISH was not included in the booking fee (even though it says so on Booking.com) and I would have to pay at the hotel. I was never charged for it at the hotel but seemed like a communications error.

Location was great and staff helpful.

I do not like the fact that because I did not book the hotel through the "app" I will not be accumulating any points. I should be rewarded for my loyalty to accor. I should not have to use the app for my loyalty to your hotel chain to be recognised. Not everybody has access to an iphone all the time whilst travelling. I am reconsidering staying with your chain in the future due to this approach which I see as not rewarding me for my loyalty. This lack of choice in how I book does not encourage me to stay with you in the future.

Beautiful lobby/dining room/courtyard. Bathroom very cool & modern. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Special thanks to Jose Luis & also the evening concierge for accompanying me on the elevator many times as I have a fear of being stuck in an elevator.

Glass water bottles are a good idea, but I wish they were cleaned, refilled, and sealed with tape by hotel staff before being placed back in the room. I had stomach problems all week. Perhaps the guest before me refilled with sink water.

There are some awful reviews about this hotel that are not true. The rooms are a bit small but I didn't mind since I travelled alone. The hotel is also clean and the breakfast is good, though not exceptional. The neighbourhood is not posh but not dangerous either. It's some distance away from the zocalo, though.

It was a very good location easy walk to the socalo very safe a lot of security the hotel also has people in the lobby that you can take tours very convenient I also arrived early and I asked if I can check in early they charged me a little more but they let me in 8:00

When I was waiting I was trying to go to the bathroom the man the door said I cannot use it until I check in but they were working in my reservation then later I asked the receptionist can I use the bathroom please I've been waiting for my room and she let me use one of her key card to use the bathroom the bathroom was located in the lobby the reception is there were super nice

Really liked the cleanliness of the rooms as well as the friendliness of the staff. The staff was always very accommodating and friendly.

After 9pm, there was no place where we could microwave anything which was a big inconvenience.

The location next to the metro station, the breakfast although limited was more than adequate, the staff were fabulous , the street food nearby

The doors on the shower have been incorrectly installed the small door should be on the side of the taps so your arm doesn’t get wet as you turn the shower on. One lift wasn’t working so there can be a long delay, more connecting rooms - I asked for one but there was none available

Front desk receptionist didn't even answer our "goodnight" when checking in. She seemed mad, it isn't a pleasant welcome when your greeted with a frown
