The room was simple but quite nice, reasonably spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean when I checked in, and the housekeeping kept it clean every single day of my stay. The big advantage of the room was definitely the jacuzzi in the bathroom, which was very relaxing whenever needed. It worked just fine, and it was well maintained. The hotel itself was quiet, with just a little bit of noise coming from the street occasionally, but not too much if you closed the window. There was also a music bar nearby, but it wasn't too annoying for me, and I could sleep without problems. The hotel staff was also kind and helpful. The area felt quite safe, and I didn't have any concerns coming back late at night. If you're looking for decent accommodation on a budget and want to stay close to the city centre I can definitely recommend this accommodation.
The room didn't have any type of air-conditioning nor a fan. It wasn't too hot when I stayed there, so I was fine, but I'm not sure how it works when it gets really hot in Mexico City. You'd probably need to ask for a fan, so bear in mind. Also, having a small fridge in the room would be nice to keep some cold drinks and water. There was definitely some spare space for that in the room.

It didn’t have breakfast but the location was perfect. Travelling and safety felt really easy and nice, police where somewhat present nearby since if was the historic center we were never far from places to call or get food from. The bed was big and it wasn’t anything special but just enough for anything you need
The outside wasn’t the best but for the price and location i will take it, i am planning to go back. I didnt love the bathroom it was really really small, also hot water wasn’t always available.

I arrived to Mexico City early in the morning and immediately went at the hotel. They had an available room, so it was nice to early check in, leave bags and go for a walk. Very cheap price, room cleaned every day. Staff helped with everything. Location is great, very close to seesights and metro station
The center is not safe district. Police everywhere, barbed wires and grids on windows. I came back to the hotel sometimes in the evening after sunset. There was no problem, but still felt unsafe

The hotel isn't in one of the trendy areas but it is within walking distance of the historical city center. Also, there are metrobus and subway stations close-by, making it easy to get around the city. I was out all day, only coming back for the night, and for that the room was totally fine.
Very long wait for the hot water (but it does work eventually). When taking a shower, all the floor in the bathroom gets wet, including in front of the toilet.

The location was very convenient, close to attractions, public transportation, and good restaurants. They did room service every day. The staff were helpful even though they spoke a little English. The bed was quite firm, but we slept well after all.
There was a bar nearby playing loud music every night from Thursdays to Sundays. We stayed in a room close to the street, and it was hard to go to sleep until they stopped past 1.30 am on Thursday.

As always, I really appreciated arriving with a reservation, being told the total I owed for the night, being given the room key and TV remote control, and being sent on my way with little procedural effort. Very straightforward and not time consuming; I like that.
I didn’t like the sketchiness of the environment outside the hotel, but it is what it is and that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Is not that I didnt like but there was no Fan, no hair dryer, but besides that everything was amazing I loved the fact that they clean the room everyday,

Loved it. I have been a long time user if Airbnb both as host and traveller and the quality has dropped significantly since the COVID thing. I have been expanding out if my usual areas in DF as well as Roma has been destroyed by biz closures, inflation and gentrification. My trips to the city have been horrible in the last two years. Hotel Panuco is a gem of an era gone by. The rooms are very large and so are the bathrooms, it was such a treat to stay somewhere that was about the user experience and comfort instead of how many beds they can get in 0wr square foot to maximize profit. The bathroom was DIVINE! I often look for a bathtub when traveling because I live at the coast and absolutely nobody uses them here. Plus the city is freezing. This Jacuzzi was huge and in this massive bathroom with a rain shower. The bed was a big cozy king and I loved the old school windows you could open all the way. The staff was so nice, everyone said hello to me in hallways and the front and they just seemed to be joyful and satisfied with their work, another rare thing in the city and these days. After two years of feeling miserable everytime I have to go to the capital for some sort of government apt, this is the first time I left happy and it was 💯 this hotel. Just renewed my faith that not everyone is a miserable low grade mass market greedy pig. I know that's harsh, but anyone old enough to remember knows it wasn't always this miserable. I hope they never tear this place down and make micro condos made of paper and rules. I will be staying here on every trip from now on. Even the couple selling coffee at the stand across the street at 7am were jovial and friendly. The experience was absolutely perfect, thank you.

Everyone was very very very nice and accomodating to our poor Spanish, and the cleaning staff was kind and professional. They kept the room very clean, and the hotel always smelled nice.
The price was different when we arrived, by about 400 pesos (25 USD). The room was small, but we paid for a cheap room, so that was expected. There were sometimes folks sleeping on the sidewalk outside at night but they didn't bother us.

The location is excellent. The hotel has reliable hot water. Good internet and a desk in the room allowed me to get work done comfortably. This is a great budget option and I would stay here again.
A mini fridge in the room would make this an even better option. Don't expect much in terms of decor. The staff were friendly, but I don't think any of them know English.
