District Polanco by Lumina is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Polanco, offering easy access to restaurants, shops, a beautiful park, and just a 15-minute Uber ride to downtown. It's also an 18-minute walk to the Antara mall, making it super convenient. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful with any questions. However, the rooms are quite small—fine for light travelers, but those with lots of luggage should consider upgrading to a bigger room.

One issue was arriving late at 2 a.m. without a passcode for the gate. We couldn’t reach anyone and had to knock to get in. If you’re arriving late, be sure to request the code in advance. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few things to keep in mind!

We had stayed there under the previous owner/operator and you can notice a big improvement in the facilities, design, and attention to detail from the new owners. The customer service and staff attention markedly improved and was a really pleasant experience. We liked that cleaning was done daily and the front desk and doorman were very kind and attentive. The room was super comfortable, especially the bed.

The rooms are not that well isolated from noise and the safe in the room wasn't working. The shower design leaked a lot of water onto the bathroom floor.

I stayed one night on my own. The room was spacious, with a very large bed, a big closet, and a view of the indoor courtyard. Everything was clean and convenient. I appreciated the easy-to-use digital lock on the door and the water fountain on my floor, which made it easy to refill my bottle from the room. The location is the highlight!

The only downside was that I couldn’t open the minifridge. It appeared to be locked.

The staff were very gracious and helpful and friendly. The upgraded room they gave me was terrific and overlooked the garden. I LOVED the garden - had breakfast there each morning. It was a wonderful location - very safe, very close to metro and fun shopping, easy walk to Polanco Park and Chapultepec Park.

I really enjoyed the hotel location!!!! The room was good but the windows were small. The balcony was amazing.

The accommodation was excellent—modern, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. The location is unbeatable, making it the perfect place to stay.

What I don’t like, although it’s not mentioned in their offer, is that it doesn’t have parking. Perhaps an agreement with a nearby parking facility would be a good idea.

Location was ideal. We could maneuver around easily between all the neighborhoods and excellent walking distance to the culinary experiences via all the incredible restaurants the city offers.

The location is the best one if you want to walk Polanco. It has banks, restaurants, parks and shopping

The ac is not that good. Is not bad but it could be better.
