Beautiful small, friendly, cozy, well-appointed, home-y hotel in the incredible district of Jalatlaco. The room had a fan and ac that worked great, a nice desk and chair, and there were beautiful plants and decorations all over the hotel making it a very peaceful living space. They also have a free filtered water machine for filling up water bottles, and a beautiful rooftop to sit and look down at the area and around towards the mountains. it's also steps from amazing restaurants, cafes, shops, and sites, and just a few (fun and interesting) minutes walk into the center of town. It's a quieter part of town, but still really cute and lively. The staff was very friendly and accomodating too. Definitely recommended!

Nothing. I had an excellent stay here - really loved the location/neighborhood, the ac and fan and desk in the room, as well as the closet with luggage rack, and the staff were really nice. great exeperience in total!

The location is right in the heart of Jalatlaco. I loved that the hotel is not located on a busy traffic street. The staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. The decor is colorful, welcoming and eclectic and the rooftop seating area was amazing! The beds are hard but we prefer them that way.

As great as the location is, our room gave onto the street and the partying from Dia de los Muertes went on until midnight and the street came back to life by 7 am. It was very noisy. The skylight in our room (right over the beds) gave onto the rooftop terrace and it was extra noisy trying to sleep when people were up there. The wifi was really slow but we were there for vacation and not really to work so it wasn't a big problem.

Location was exceptional in historic and artistic barrio with everything needed within a couple blocks. The flowers on the roof terrace added extra abuela charm. Wish I could stay longer!

They arranged a driver to bring me from the airport upon arrival. None showed up. Thank God for Taxi collectivo , it was unexpected and longer, but a great lower cost transportation.

booked hotel thru Oaxaca Food and Wine Festival great location, the Jalatlaco neighborhood has wall art, walking distance to coffee and artisan shops, affordable restaurants and the park where we went at night to grab a snack, people watch and fire works at the church hotel staff were friendly and helpful the hotel had a terrace, went there morning, noon and night to relax and recharge

Lovely location, in a quiet and very quaint Barrio. There was often no one at the front desk but you can let yourself in and out by a side door.

Windows faced other rooms so did not open drapes often. Could have Drinking glasses in rooms (pre covid). Replenish water bottles daily

My room was very comfortable and quiet, the location is right next to a lot of really nice places to eat in a very good part of town for tourists that may be new to visiting Mexico. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Wifi was good enough for streaming etc.

The location was ideal, it was charming, and the staff was helpful.

The pillows were really hard. The taxi driver that the hotel set up to take us to the airport in the morning wanted us to pay 100 pesos more than what the hotel told us, so be sure to reconfirm the price with both the hotel and the taxi driver in advance of getting in the car.

Everything was wonderful although it would have been to have coffee available for guests. Cafes don’t open until 7 am ( only 1) or later. Staff was very kind and welcoming and the space was clean and beautiful, especially the terrace loaded with plants.

The common area is absolutely charming and the rooftop is lovely. It was quiet (mid January). It's a nice walk to the center of town, passing wonderful murals all the way. The area was safe.

The shower nozzle sprayed water everywhere but on your body, so it wastes a lot of water just trying to rinse off shampoo and soap.

Amazing location! In a super cute part of town near coffee shops, restaurants, and artsy stores. Easily walkable to the city center and reception was open late.

It was a very noisy hotel ... I could hear everyone talking and walking outside of my room at night, even if they were talking in low voices.
