Very lovely hostel. Nice vibe. Great activities, friendly people, helpful staff. Perfect location. Everything was walkable with good access to main roads but just in the old town. Zocalo very close by and connected by a pedestrian only street. The room was a good size, clean, had an a/c unit. The housekeeping cleaned it as you wanted. No complaints. Good hot water, nice big bathroom. Drinking water available. Loved the walking tours!

Nothing! I’ll definitely come back! Maybe use a different water dispensing system as this one splashed a lot and was at times difficult to maneuver.

I really enjoyed the activities the hostel hosted, and the guide was super friendly and helpful. She seemed just as happy to be there as the guests hahaha. That was the best thing about my stay. The rooms were pretty clean, but there are some things to note. You can hear the noise from outside the room and the bunk beds move a lot, so it’s very uncomfortable during the quiet hours to get out of the bed. The bathroom is spacious and generally clean, but it’s just a shame that there is only one shower. During my stay it wasn’t a big issue, but it did put some pressure on you to finish a little faster.

The 6 beds female dorm on the 2nd floor with natural lighting and a big window. Good during day time. They will switch on AC in the evening for better ventilation. The bed with light, socket and personal safe ( bring your own lock) to keep your stuff inside bed is convenient. With the rack that you can hang the towel they provided free of charge. There is a big locker and with light (you can see the stuff inside clearly and good for packing in the early morning or evening, not too miss anything( you can put a big backpack inside. Or one hand carry and one medium size backpack, still have extra room. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable with think blanket to keep you warm in the evening. The staff is super nice and has daily free activities or pat hiking or food tours. You can meet more people in the hostel. The hostel/hotel restaurant provide breakfast service as well. The kitchen is clean and provides a very basic electric stove that is good for cooking breakfast. Filter water is provided free of charge. The shower is hot water but weak water pressure. Good enough for a comfortable shower.

Staff lovely, really friendly & helpful, including their patience helping me practise my spanish! Beds with lockers, night lights & blackout curtains well-designed. And the free activities were great! Thankyou

The mixed dorm had a few setbacks - off internal courtyard so no natural ventilation & got very stuffy overnight; need hooks by each bed in room to hang towels to dry; and my mattress was uncomfy on the first night - i could feel the springs. However when i told the staff in the morning they apologised & turned my matress, added padding & it was fine after that! Very much appreiated.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Pepe in Puebla!! The staff are so kind and genuine. I met a lot of great travelers here. They offer lots of activities every day to meet people. Breakfast was included with my booking.com reservation and it was soooo yummy!!! Not your traditional toast and cereal hostel breakfast, but an actual authentic Mexican breakfast. The 6 bed dorm I stayed in had A/C! I got lucky because another traveler I met who was also staying in a 6 bed dorm did not have A/C in their room so I would ask or request that room if possible!

The bed was so-so comfortable. The price of the room definitely made up for it!

Spacious room, spacious bathroom, clean, shelf and plug in the bed, nice fluffy duvets, a/c in the room, friendly staff, very sociable, lots of activities, bar nextdoor that also serves good breakfast, only a few minutes walking to the central square. As keys for the rooms they give out cards and bracelets. Take a card! If you lose the bracelet, it's a lot more expensive than the card (200 vs. 50 pesos).

10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!! The breakfast was amazing and was included with my purchase. It's literally served at the restaurant on site, table service, with traditional Mexican dishes. How did I get so lucky?? I extended my stay twice and I still want to go back!! The 6 person dorm is spacious, spotless, and has a huge shower with hot water and a separate bathroom with a toilet. The dim lighting creates a cozy ambience that made me feel like I was staying in a 5 star hotel rather than a hostel. The kitchen is large, the bar is plentiful even though I don't drink, and overall this stay exceeded my expectations. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure that you are happy, but that's a common theme around Mexico in general. As a solo female traveler I recommend Casa Pepe if you value cleanliness, coziness, friendliness, and spaciousness. The unlitimate dream for a girly with high standards! Everything was perfect!

One of the most comfortable hostels ever! First of all, the bed is incredible: perfect privacy curtain and sturdy pod-style beds that guarantee perfect darkness while sleeping. The free breakfast is an a la carte style meal that includes a juice and fruit. The location is very good right on the edge of the old town. They also organise a bunch of events every day so meeting people should be easy, and the staff is super nice and helpful.

The bathroom set-up is weird: toilet and shower are separate but the sink is in the shower room so if someone is showering, you can't wash your hands. It also really makes you notice how many people don't wash their hands after using the bathroom :/

Amazing place, especially for the price. The staff is great and so welcoming. The place is ideally located to explore El Centro.

The staff of the hotel is amazing and very dedicated. The breakfast is delicious and the wait staff is very attentive, dedicated and professional, but they are understaffed and run around constantly. The restaurant gets very busy in the morning, and I don’t know they handle everything. They really need to put additional people on the floor.

The room is spacious and the staffs were really helpful and nice! Also the fellow travelers who stayed in the hostel were also very kind and welcoming. There are plenty of activities to do with the hostel, the walking tours are very worthwhile and full of information of the city. The location is quite perfect, it’s not far from the center nor far from restaurants and bars. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
