This charming hotel is a true gem, ideally located for exploring the heart of Tehuacán. The property is beautifully maintained, with a serene inner courtyard that invites relaxation and a restaurant that offers both great food and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were exceptional—professional, welcoming, and clearly committed to outstanding hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again.

Be sure to request a room that is not next to the main street. While those rooms have sealed windows and balconies, noise from the street and sidewalk still carries into the room. Also, the hotel offers secure private parking for guests, which is a great feature—but I wasn’t aware of it in advance. There’s no designated spot to unload luggage out front, so knowing about the private lot beforehand would’ve made arrival much smoother.

The location and the parking area. The bed was comfy, but the room was super small for two. The garden and the building are charming. But unfortunately the staff doesn't, they acted very helpless without any scope for decisions.

The bigger rooms are on the loud main street, the change to the garden side was a single room apartment, the staff was not willing to give us the quiet big room at the second floor there, except for a big extra charge, it doesn't matter we booked a higher category then we get without any compensating . The sad thing, my wife is from Tehuacan and she tried to talk as a local with the staff. It didn't help, at all and she stayed at her father's home and I was alone in this mini room . We cancelled the next morning our further stays.

The Solaris Group did a very nice renovation of this grand old hotel. They blended nicely updated amenities while keeping the soul of this landmark. We particularly liked the interior garden and the peacefulness it offered away from the bustling street.

Check in on the main street is impossible as there are no areas for a car to stop. The hotel needs to clearly indicates the best access through its parking on the side street and have a clear visible sign on that street.

We spent one night in Tehuacan after visiting the Biosphere. The hotel is well located (we easily walked to the bus stop where the bus to Zapotitlán leaves) and looks like has been recently renovated. The internal patio is beautiful. The staff was friendly and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in so that we could visit the park. The hotel restaurant is good.

Very nice Hotel with great service among the staff and very helpful. Nice clean pool, great included breakfast and excellent location.

The room we had only had one window which was directly next to the big street and was not possible to open for obvious reasons, which made it also be less ventilation.

Very good location in the city center, with a large and well taken care garden and a good swimming pool.

There was no sign at the entrance of the hotel parking lot indicating it belonged to the hotel, so it was a bit confusing to find it since there are many other parking lots on the same street.

It’s really elegant, the courtyard is lovely. The rooms are super comfortable. The food is delicious! Breakfast breakfast, and everyone is so kind.

There was a cockroach 😩 So I killed it and flushed it down the toilet

I mostly walked around the hotel area and I felt safe. I enjoyed the mornings there and the weather was excellent. My wife enjoyed being around the pool. The wait staff was very nice and accommodating.

Great hotel, centrally located. Our kids loved the pool and it was really nice to have breakfast included. Service at the restaurant was great.
