The room was big and the view was nice. TV and Wifi worked just fine and the staff (when I managed to locate them) was helpful. Private parking.

This review is first and foremost for non Mexican tourists. 1: The roads to this place from the main 575 road are 75% dirt roads. The one through Texocoyohuac I would not recommend driving at all, complete off road experience with cows, horses, pitbulls, mountainous terrain and parts of the road covered by knee deep water. If you're in a rental give this a miss. 2: When I arrived the place was boarded up and locked with chains. No staff in sight. Bring a Mexican sim card that you can make calls from! And speak Spanish! (I was helped by the lady next door who runs a small shop out of her garage with getting in contact with the place). They showed up within 15 minutes. 3: They seem unfamiliar with booking.com and not paying in cash, so make sure you have screenshots of your booking payment. 4: There are no restaurants or similar services in and around this little mountain town. 5: The pool area seem more to be part of the hotels general theme park for kids layout. Plenty of Mikey mouse statues etc around.

Its a very nice place to stay away from city noise and its a very quiet place too many fruit trees and avocado trees people let us pick apples avocados figs lemons .

Beautiful surroundings

Read other negative comments…particularly one from Sweden. Spot on. I wish we would have read it before booking. Only problem was people giving it 7 or 8 after noting all its failings. It’s not an overnight hotel, it’s so far away from anything in this beautiful area…just go somewhere else outside of one of the Pueblo Mágicos. This is a family camp type place with no hot water, horrible road, “restaurant” is what’s left over before cook goes home at 6. They tried to deny my Bookings dot com reservation until I showed they it was non refundable…told us fully booked, which was not true…we had no choice but to stay and we paid as much as the excellent hotel the next night. No comparison. Not even close to worth the money time and pot holes to get there. Please believe every negative comment…it’s a 1 except how nice the surroundings hills look.
