The hotel is right in the heart of Tequisquiapan. Right outside you can find the main Plaza where you can take the perfect picture next to the "Tequis" sign. Everything is within walking distance: restaurants and stores. The hotel has 2 restaurants of its own and a bar. The ground level restaurant is mainly for breakfast, and the one upstairs is for lunch and dinner. Food upstairs is very tasty and you can get your sides from a mini island. Staff is super friendly, professional, and helpful. If the weather is warm take advantage of the pool and dive its cold clean water. Our room was a bit small but cozy. A/C, hot water, and TV are available in every room.

Parking space is limited (but staff is quick to assist moving vehicles if you need to leave the premises). Limited space for clothes in our room.

The location on the main square was great and the onsite parking was great too, if a little hard to find. There are two onsite restaurants but we didn't eat there. There is also a large solar heated pool. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. We had a problem with the tv but someone came right away and fixed it.

It would be nice to have the parking entrance directions in the welcome message. We went around the block three times before we saw the small sign, We didn't eat at the onsite restaurants, only because the music was uncomfortably loud on the terrace, it would have been impossible to have a conversation.

We enjoyed our stay at La Plaza. It's a beautiful building, and well maintained. We had a very pleasant meal at one of the in-house restaurants. It's conveniently located right at the main plaza, and close to the artizan market. The beds are confortable, and wifi/internet is good. There were several 3-pin electrical outlets - something you don't always find in Mexico - and a neat little "nook" for a work space. The room was quite small, but clean & comfortable. Hotel management were kind enough to allow me to use a meeting room for a couple of hours for an early morning Zoom meeting, so that I would not disturb my wife.

The parking was a little tricky to get into because of one-way streets and construction. Our GPS didn't guide us well, and we ended up driving the wrong way on a couple of streets because there was literally no other choice.

What a lovely place! In the traditional style of garden hotels that Mexico does do well! immaculate gardens and pool great bar and restaurant...right in the center of charming town...room 9 is at back of property with jacuzzi and private patio...snuggle in soft sheets and giant fluffy pillows.. EXCELLENT... did not want to leave!

Incredible location, beautiful, clean grounds, courtyard and pool area. They had very friendly staff and you can tell they really take care of the property. Thank you for providing earplugs. They were very needed. I wish I had them in while sleeping.

It would be really nice to be able to make coffee in the room or be able to buy it somewhere in the restaurant in the morning after the church bells wake you up.

Great employees. Both reception and restaurant staff. One of our party had a stomach complaint, the waiter went out if his way to ensure dietary needs were taken care of. Good internet. Amazing location. Wonderful pool area. Very tranquil. We would definitely stay again. I’ve visited Tequisquiapan many times. Probably the best customer service I’ve received.

The location of the hotel is great, right on the plaza next to the church. There is a beautiful lobby and pool area with gardens. The room was comfortable and quiet. We had a lovely stay. It’s difficult to find a hotel with parking in centro. I will stay here again.

It definitely needs some updating, painting, remodeling while keeping the colonial style.
