We chose for our family holiday in Montenegro to stay at Hotel Bono for 10 days. The location is perfect, just 7 minutes and you are on the beach and sea. Next to the hotel, there is a supermarket, bus stop, small bakery and a shop with fruit. The hotel is new-built, modern, and cosy. We got a double room with an additional bed, and surprisingly it was extremely spacious and had enough space for all of us (my mom, my younger brother and me). The room was equipped with all the necessary stuff, air conditioner, TV, hair dryer, fresh towels, small fridge, safe, kettle with cups and glasses. There was also enough wardrobe storage to keep your stuff. The cleaning was done every day, and the cleaning ladies were extremely friendly. The breakfast was amazing and delicious, there was a variety of choices for everyone, even for children. Every day there were different types of eggs, pancakes, pasta, cheeses and ham, fruits, sweet and salt pastries, filter coffee and tea. We also want to thank all the team of the hotel. Miss Jovana at the reception, the manager and owner, Igor, 2 cleaning ladies and the staff at the restaurant were absolutely friendly, nice, understanding and helpful Jovana recommended a lot of interesting tourist places to visit from the perspective of a local person who lives here and always answered all our questions. She even helped us during our arrival with the luggage. The manager and owner, Igor, was always at the hotel and controlled if everything was fine. We should arrived at 1:30 pm, but our bus arrived earlier, at 7 am. Despite this, Jovana did her best to check in with us at 11:30 am, instead of 2 pm. Also, during our waiting at the reception before check-in, the owner offered us a free breakfast on our arrival date, which was extremely nice and unexpected. Before our departure, our child got seriously sick, and that is why we asked to extend our stay till the evening when our bus was departures.

A Home Away From Home at Hotel Bono – Unforgettable Stay! As a solo traveler, staying at Hotel Bono was truly one of the highlights of my journey. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the warm hospitality and genuine care shown by the staff especially Yovana. Special mention goes to Superman Igor – more than just a host, he felt like a father figure, guiding me with kindness and wisdom throughout my Montenegro adventure. And of course, to the lovely Ms. Jovana, whose beautiful smile welcomed me on my first day and stayed just as bright until the moment I left and provided me an exceptional customer service and hospitality . This place isn’t just a hotel – it’s a home, full of warmth, and heart. I felt safe, supported, and truly valued. For any traveler seeking not just a place to stay but a meaningful experience, I can’t recommend Hotel Bono enough.

First of all,as an airline staff,i stayed lots of hotels which has five star and i think Bono has this quality.When we were arrived the hotel , Igor( the best man in Montenegro:) ) welcome us with a friendly smile and upgraded our room.Room was clean,tidy and we havent faced any problem about room.They have alternative foods at the breakfast related to your religion and they were delicious.Special thanks to Vesna for breakfast. Hotel location was satisfied us. It lasts 15 minutes to the beach with walking.If you want to visit other cities,you have to rent a car.It easy way to go to anywhere instead of public transportation. They have parking lot for our car.We did not have any problem for parking our car. Thank you for your hospitality and always smiling attitude with a perfect room.See you on next vacation Bono :)

Some reviewers comment on the breakfast, but would like to note that it is great and very varied. Cleanliness is ensured by two cleaning ladies rather than one, which I have not seen before. Many thanks go to them. The reception staff were friendly and explained all local sightseeings and transport options. NB: Do not use taxi stand near the hotel. They will overcharge you. You’d rather take a bus to Budva on the Main Street. You can buy a ticket from the guy with a purse. Fantastic restaurant options can be found in Rafailovici; reach the seashore, turn left and walk around 1 km. You will see a number of fish restaurants on you way.

The staff was amazing. Breakfast is really nice but limited options. Good value for money for off season. Rooms were clean. Standard room is a bit small. Family rooms are amazing in size.

The hotel only provides breakfast. No room service or food for lunch/dinner available. Location is a bit off as late night buses are not very predictible and taxis over-charge always. Not many restaurants around to have dinner or lunch.

I am thrilled to write a review about Hotel Bono and I am 100% gladly doing it out of pleasure. This gem and the 'good feel' vibe you get once you are inside the hotel space actually is so much better than what is presented on their online platform. For detailed people like me and my partner, this place, especially the hosts' hospitality exceeded our expectations. Everyone of service there was extraordinary - positive, so caring and hardworking, making sure you feel comfortable with every move you make. From the moment you step your foot inside you feel an awe and realize that you have made the best choice to have a home away from home for a few days. The ambience within the hotel space is so cozy, unique, very clean and rarely seen and felt in other hotels in the region. Everything is super comfortable, minimal and the hotel has brand new furniture. I recommend this hotel especially to all the design and architecture lovers outthere. One extremely important thing is that the location of the hotel couldn't be any better for us, since it's very close to the main beach - close to Hotel Splendid and other fancy resorts. No need for your car during the day at the beach. At the hotel you can have your own private parking and choosing that option was the best choice for us whilst our stay. And last but not least: the breakfast they serve with so much love, is truly amazing and has a lot variety. The buffet is full of delicious dishes and special recipes, all too tasty. I stayed here alone for a short vacation, and everything was just perfect. The manager, Igor, took care of everything – I didn’t miss a thing. Every morning and evening, he greeted me with a warm “hello” and made sure I felt welcome and respected. It was clear that he genuinely cares about the guests and their comfort. Highly recommended – the service truly made the difference!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was nice and comfortable, and the staff were absolutely wonderful – very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was small but tasty. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and there’s a bus stop nearby. It takes about 40 minutes to walk to the Old Town. Definitely a great place to stay!

The room was very well decorated, clean and comfortable, with adequate storage space. Comfy beds and a good sized balcony where you can enjoy the weather and the view are also worth mentioning. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory. The hotel is very close to the public transportation and a taxi stop, a supermarket and a good hamburger restaurant. It is also close to Petrovac, Pryzno and Sveti Stefan, either by car or bus. The Old Town takes around 20 minutes by car, if the traffic is congested (as it mostly is). The staff were very warm, helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Ms. Jovana, and the kind gentleman (whose name we unfortunately forgot to ask) who helped us with car parking and our unexpected health issues. (One day when our son was suddenly ill, Ms. Jovana left vitamin biscuits at our door with great kindness! The other day, when we were all too ill to walk out, the gentleman brought food for our son, which was of great importance and meaning for us at that context.) Kindness and sincerity really makes a lot of difference.

The street that leads to the hotel is very narrow and crowded with cars and pedestrians, so it gets tiring to drive through at times.

The staff were so good and friendly. I'm gluten free and and its not really catered for anywhere in Budva. But the staff knew I loved the fruit and brought me out a bowl of delicious watermelon. They even got me a gluten free chocolate bar. My husband who can eat anything said the breakfast was one of best hes ever had. Fresh pancakes and a variety of home made pastries. I love this hotel and would recommend it.
