I booked a room at Auberge Agoudal after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures attached with the property. I was riding a motorcycle from Marrakech, and my first stay was here, and I will say very fortunately so because I got a little late in arriving there. It was already dark and had got really cold. The place was very easy to find and I was very warmly welcomed by the host El-habib. We got along well quite easily. He was really helpful and looking at my shivering state, he immediately lit the fireplace and made the wonderful Moroccan tea with biscuits. I was the only guest for the day, but it didn't affect El-habib's hospitality. He also made traditional Moroccan Kefta Tajine served with rich assortment of olives and bread and much more. To make my stay even more comfortable he also provided me with two hot-water bags which kept me warm for the night. Overall I would really recommend a stay at Auberge Agoudal.

I followed a few other motorcycle travelers on You Tube who stayed here... I wanted to get to the highest village in Morocco, @2300m... and ride the Todgha and Dades Gorges.... and this seemed the perfect spot to stop...and I was not disappointed. I was met by El-Habib... a truly wonderful host, his English is excellent and he could not be more welcoming, considerate and helpful. The views and sunshine made it perfect and although it was very "fresh"... with snow still on the peaks... the room was very warm and comfortable... as was the lounge with its wood fire. The en-suite was very roomy and the hot water plentiful. I didn't eat dinner as I was still suffering the side effects of food poisoning two days previous in Meknes... however the tea and nuts on the terrace were a nice way to watch the sun disappear over the mountain tops. The breakfast was plentiful and greatly appreciated. I did not leave hungry but very happy I had found a new friend on the Roof of Morocco. El-Habib... Thank you... Shkran... Tanmirt... Merçi... Mouchè... ton ami!

On arrival I was greeted by Mohammed who spoke a little english. The property is next to a small town that is one of the highest in the Atlas Mountains. November quite cold but wood burning stove in restaurant and heating with plenty of blankets made up for the cooler temperatures outside. El-habib, the manager, speaks almost perfect english and has a vast knowledge of the area and he also has a passion for cooking fresh traditional meals. I had a Harira Soup and a Chicken Tajine both superb. Breakfast was filling and tasty. If you stay here you will be well looked after with a few laughs with the staff in the restaurant. Thanks for looking after me.

We were on a tour of Morocco on motorcycles and chose this place after it was featured on Richy Vadas youtube channel. We were the only guests there in one of the highest villages in the Atlas Mountains. Good start off for the Dadès Gorge. Loved everything. The manager Al Habib was a lovely man who speaks very good English. He is so warm hearted and an absolute pleasure to talk to. The food was lovely and it was such a peaceful place. Secure parking for bikes not that it was really needed due to the rural nature of the place. Just a great place

Breakfast was delightful. Lots of different items served with a smile. Our room was cosy and also quirky with a large comfy bed and our own en suite bathroom. We enjoyed our Tagines in the evening (which were accompanied by a cheeky beer!) There was

I cannot think of anything negative to say about Auberge Agoudal. It's a lovely little place that is really enhanced by the enthusiastic and helpful attentions of Al Habib and his staff. Thank you Al Habib.

Wonderful experience. Agoudal itself is a marvel, but the receptionist, Ibrahim - went far beyond his duties to make my stay special. I had been travelling alone on my motorcycle and on the day of my arrival I had a swollen hand, due to a fall on my motorbike. I asked Ibrahim if there was someone in the village to look at the hand. Without hesitation, he took me to his home to see his father, a local Berber with the know-how of injuries. It goes without saying this was the best hospitability in my whole trip to Morocco, because of the people there. The hotel itself is great and has great rooms and food - especially considering the location. Big thumbs up!

Habib is a star. From the beggining till the end, he was at our disposal on everything. He made us fell like home, even we were in the middle of nowhere. We highly recomend this place for anyone who cross the Atlas Mountains, especially for bike riders. Habib is the manager of this place.

The acces in the parking place for heavy motorbikes.

One of our favorite experiences in Morocco! After arriving, we had some fresh tea and snacks. We sat and visited while we waited for dinner. It was nice to visit about the cultural differences and share stories. The hotel sits on a hill, overlooking the village. It was very peaceful and quiet. Large parking lot so made parking easy.

The drain in the shower made it a little challenging to shower as it was a decent size round hole.
