Midelt in my opinion is not a very picturesque village, I stopped here in order to ride the next day to Merzouga. The guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood of Midelt. Parking inside the premises for my motorbike is a plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The garden with an abundance of fruit trees is a small haven of piece and an excellent place to have your breakfast or dinner, next to the garden there is a pool area, with a good size pool. Rooms are basic, a good king size bed and airco were very welcome. Decoration is basic, but the small balcony is also very nice. Breakfast & dinner were well worth the vsit.

There is nothing really to complain about, it was a good overnight stay.

The service was really very good and attentive. The entrance area is very nice with the fireplace and sofas, and the rooms are very big.

The rooms are unfortunately a bit older, especially the windows are quite bad, so it gets cold in the room when it's cold outside. However, there is a heating system that is quiet, so you can leave it running on cold days. The bathrooms are also not that nice, quite bare and also very cold, with no possibility to make it warmer. It’s also not best located, the City Center is a Bit off, so Make sure to have a car.

The location is just outside town in a very quiet street. The swimming pool was very clean and the water blue as the picture. The staff was so nice, they are making an extra effort to provide a very good staying (they washed our clothes without charging us, we had a welcoming tea when arrived and they very extremely polite with us). They also have wine and beer which was a plus. The garden is beautiful with apple trees and roses…we had breakfast there and we finished up the bottle of wine we had for dinner there..awesome atmosphere! We loved it!

You could hear the noises from the other room next to us, but overall was not a problem

Arriving slightly behind schedule and slightly lost, we were greeted with open arms at Riad Villa Midelt. Traveling as a duo with our bikes, we were amazed by the exceptional hospitality extended to us. Despite our tardiness, they welcomed us warmly and treated us to a delightful dinner. The accommodations were excellent, and the attentive service left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for a memorable stay.

All of the gentlemen working here were just lovely. The accommodations were very comfortable and my 21-year-old daughter thought that the decor was the coolest of our 12 day trip. I don’t think there was an attempt at irony, it’s a very authentic vintage decor that our design senses really loved.

This was just what we needed. After driving from place to place for days we landed at this elegant and welcoming place. So comfortable. Friendly people. We had a lovely dinner there that night. A great place to stay between Fes and The Sahara. Great views of the Atlas Mountains too from our balcony.

Nothing

I realize that many people travel between Fes and southern areas, or vice versa, in one long drive, flying by beautiful scenery en route. They pass by the town of Midelt, the halfway point between south and north taking little notice. But I would encourage travelers to slow down and make a stop at this town. Midelt is delightful in its own right and away from the tourist hustle. A stop will allow you to slow down and spend more time sightseeing along the way if you wish. And it will allow you to stay at the Riad Villa Midelt. Tucked away in a back street, it’s a real gem. The rooms are big and spacious, the food is excellent, and the owner and staff are so welcoming that you’ll want to stay longer. There’s a garden and a pool in the back to relax in.

After a warm welcome, we opted to have dinner here at Riad Villa Midelt - Lovely garden area to enjoy an aperitif - the dinning area setting is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding... We had a great evening. Pool area is very inviting; our room is big, comfortable and quiet, everything contributing to a good night's sleep. Breakfast was generous and delicious.

Friendliness of staff, level of service, cleanliness of room, delicious breakfast Providing the opportunity to dine inside was very convenient especially in a town like Midelt where there are not many options for dinner outside. Parking just on the side of the Road was also very convenient.
