My daughter and I had a fabulous stay here. Perfect location not in touristy area which is what we wanted, but only a 10min tram away from the city centre. Beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Very private. Very comfortable bed. Very nice modern bathroom. Andre is simply superb! Friendly, kind, happy to offer ideas of places to go. He's like an old friend. Breakfast is amazing served in the dining area or Al fresco. Andre even packed us croissants as we had a very early flight to catch. We loved our stay, hoping to return one day. Highly recommend.

1. The host was amiable, helpful and caring, and the breakfast he provided was over my expectations in terms of variety and quality of the food. 2. The whole residence (including the common area) was clean, tidy and comfortable, and I could use the water dispenser and fridge in the dining area. The room environment and facilities and their conditions exactly looked like what was shown in the photos in the listing. 3. The neighborhood was safe, friendly and quiet - I enjoyed walking around in the early morning and evening, especially along the seashore. 4. The location was only a few minutes from the tram station where I could reach Central Station in about 15 minutes (the fare was about €2.6 for one trip) 5. Two big supermarkets (Albert Heijn and DekaMarkt) and other shops were around and I could get food and daily stuff easily.

Nothing really but that would be more convenient if the sockets were next to the bed.

The best aspects of this place are the following: Location - not too far away from the city center and in front of a tram line, therefore moving around is no issue; Comfort - the room was nice and spacious and the bed really comfortable; Host - André is such a nice person to talk to and prepares an amazing breakfast, could not have asked for better.

We were very lucky with the weather, but it was certainly too hot for the house which did not have AC, only a fan which only helped somewhat. By having to open the windows at night to help cool the room off, mosquitoes showed up, which we handled fine, but did not aid in the experience. Honestly this heat is not normal for the place, therefore the majority of guests will most likely not go through this. Still a VERY GOOD place which I would go to again.

Everything! This was a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were clean and appealing, including the bathrooms. The house is in a residential environment and very quiet. The owner prepared a wonderful breakfast for us early in the morning. He was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The nearest tram station that will take you into the center of Amsterdam is a 2-minute walk away. And across from the station is an exceptional Italian restaurant. Also in walking distance is a marina with lovely eateries.

There was nothing to not like. If you are a traveler with a walking disability you may want to contact the owner beforehand. Houses in Amsterdam can be challenging because of narrow and steep stairwells. We managed despite this and were able to park the walker at the entry-level! Also, don't be surprised if your Uber driver does not find the location immediately. They need a little more guidance from our Google app. But hey, that tells you how quiet the place is.

It is a very cozy place with a very welcoming host. We had a room with a view to the channel right from our window and big nice bed on the second floor of the room. For the services of guests are kitchen with all the nessesary things, cozy and stylied with care lounge and terrase. Hotel situated in the area from which you can arrive fast and easy to the center. Supermarket is in 5 min walking distance. We had a very good time. Thank you!

Andre was the best host. Very helpful, served delicious breakfasts every day, & even assisted us with our laundry 😊 The accommodation was comfortable in a lovely location close to the waterfront & eateries. Easy access to the centre of Amsterdam via tram or cycle. Highly recommend & would definitely stay again if we return to Amsterdam

Such a lovely little guesthouse in a beautiful location on Steigereiland! The communication with André van Leeuwen was great and easy and he made delicious breakfast with consideration of allergies/preferences. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom small, but absolutely enough with a big rain shower even. Would recommend!

I had very pleasant experience with Marble Inn. Great location which is not far from Central Station that can be reached by tram. Bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and spacious. Every morning a good breakfast was served. André - the owner - is a really nice and helpful guy. For example, he scanned and printed out some documents which I urgently needed. Thank you!

The stay was very pleasant. Breakfast was exceptional, room had all the conveniences needed for short stay and bed was comfy. The host was super helpful and took care of us in a friendly manner. Definitely a recommended place to stay in Amsterdam:)

Bathroom door gives little privacy, but we quicky adapted:)

Wonderful host with parking. Tram stop within a couple of minutes so easy to get into the city. Local restaurants within easy walk and very quiet.

The bed is built over the room, if you have mobility issues you need to check with the host. I actually liked it and it was comfortable but my partner was not so keen.
