Clean, quiet, excellent breakfasts and public transportation was convenient. Jo and Karen went above and beyond by driving us to and from Keukenhof Gardens, and then a very early drive to the airport.

Jo and Karen were amazing hosts, attentive, professional, personable and friendly - nothing too much trouble. Happy to help give advice on things to do. Arrived as strangers and left as friends. Lovely variety of continental breakfast options and evening meal provided upon request at additional charge, all good quality food. Parking included right outside property in safe and quiet neighbourhood. Location is 5 minute walk from local restaurants and tram stop into the city of Amsterdam. 20 minutes tram ride into city for all tourist attractions to suit all ages. Large,comfortable bed, stable wifi, smart tv and tea\ coffee facilities in room, fresh fruit available. Very clean in entire property. Great bathroom and shower facilities. Great place to stay in every aspect!

We absolutely loved our stay with Bed & Breakfast Jo Amsterdam. It was very cosy and clean, we felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had a beautiful breakfast every morning. Karen and Jo are very kind and warm host! The location is perfect, easy access to city centre. Free car park was a great bonus.

We had an amazing stay here!!! Jo & Karen were fantastic hosts, very warm and friendly. We loved starting our days with their delicious breakfast and a lovely chat. The space itself is very clean, comfy, and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable so we slept great, and there was also a nice terrace we would have enjoyed if it wasn’t a little too cold/rainy during our stay.

I loved everything, but it’s worth noting the location is about a 30 min ride on public transit to get to the center of Amsterdam. Tram stop is close and tram comes often so it was no issue for us. But something to keep in mind.

Jo & Karen, are delightful hosts. Their traditional Dutch home is very clean & comfortable. Jo carried our luggage up & down the stairs, so that made it very easy. The location is very quiet, so good for sleeping & also very close to get into the canal boat section & other areas of Amsterdam for touring. Thank you, Jo & Karen

The room exceeded all expectations, incredibly comfortable, beautiful with a fresh smell and a wonderful terrace where you can hear the lovely birds singing! The bed is soft, comfortable, where you sleep with pleasure! Delicious breakfasts in a pleasant atmosphere and soft music! Jo & Karen were incredibly caring, accommodating and friendly for which we are very grateful

We had a fantastic time staying at Jo & Karens place. They are the best hosts you could imagine, gave us great tips on what to do and the breakfast was delicious. The room is on a separate floor, so you have your own room and bath to relax. The tram is just minutes away and it is also super close to the airport. When we come back to Amsterdam, we will definately stay with Jo & Karen again. :-)

The suite in the upper floor is just like in the photos, perfectly clean and tidy, very good taste all around. The bed is very comfortable. The balcony is lovely with lots of green and good privacy. Jo and Karen welcomed us very warmly and on the last day we had breakfast with them in the living room, having a very pleasant conversation. The house has a cozy dutch style and exactly what we were looking for, as we looked for something different from a hotel experience.

I guess the only thing that could have been better is that the room gets bright very early during the summer, so maybe installing a blackout could fix this. Also, keep in mind that you do need to ride some type of transport to the city, as it is a 1-hour walk, but it's very easy and actually something that we wanted to experience as well.

Nice breakfast, Jo was happy to find what we liked. Location was good for us but it is a bit out of central area. Easy tram ride and we enjoyed seeing more of Amsterdam on the ride in to centre but I can see how others might find it a bit far to travel each day.

Jo was super friendly and pains me to put this here but if I have to put a small dislike in this section then Jo can talk a little too long sometimes. Need to give the travellers a little more space to themselves at times.

Karen & Jo's house is very cosy and clean, beautifully decorated in Dutch style. Our room has a very confortable bed, it has access to the roof terrace, and provided everything, including water, coffee, towels, bathrobes, TV with Netflix subscription, good internet, everything in the room exquisitely clean and good quality. Breakfast was great, diverse, fit for any taste and plentiful. The location is quiet, handy, you can find anything you need around - food places, supermarket, a small shopping mall - and Amsterdam is easily accesible by tram or bus. It is a very good location also if you would like to see how the Dutch live. Karen and Jo are very nice people, they helped us with everything we needed, it was really good talking to them and being around them. It is a B&B, we lived in their house, together with them, which means this is no place to drink in the room, or have parties. For us it provided a nice rest and relaxation after the noise and agitation in the city. We shall definitely come back here when we travel to Amsterdam again. We highly
