I never stayed in a hotel where they would change your sheets and towels everyday if you wanted to. Everything was so clean! It was located in a quiet neighborhood, full of nature. We would wake up every morning and count ducks and fishes in the canal right above our window.

I had no idea about the deposit: 150 EUR, make sure you read everything, we clearly didn’t.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about Amsterdam. The Lobby bar and beer garden are fabulous we were extremely lucky with late August sun so the fresh air of the beer garden was amazing after a day in Amsterdam City Centre. Complimentary waters and fruit plus welcoming drinks served at 3. The room was spotless and maid service daily. The hotel provides complementary travel kits if needed.

This was my fault not the hotel but there’s a deposit of 150e taken on arrival it wasn’t a big issue but it might leave some holiday makers a bit tight so just read all the booking information as it was on it I just didn’t read it 😫

The Location was good (It was not too close to the center but you could have gotten everywhere very easily by bus which had a station in front of the hotel and it was 10 min walk to Amstel Station). Very Friendly and Helpful Staff especially at check out time. I liked the Personal welcome note in the room and also, the note for a drink in the bar was a nice idea. Comfortable Room. Wonderful bar. It was a lovely and amazing hotel. I loved the style, decoration and its vibrant energy.

I think it could have been cleaner. Maybe having seeing some stains made me sensitive.

We loved the design of the hotel, rooms, lobby, and restaurant. The service was great, the atmosphere was really nice every evening at the hotel. The reception staff were very nice and helpful, as well as the restaurant staff, and cleaning. The rooms were very clean, the service provided was wonderful. They have an amazing wine selection.

The breakfast consists of a menu for hot options, (eggs in many styles and 2 sweet options such as french toast or pancakes) and cold bar options which served yogurts, 1 vegan,one not, with fruit salad and dried fruits and seeds, and sometimes they had a good hummus with grilled bell peppers, and some cold cuts, however, didn't have many options for breakfast buffet bar as other hotels, do. No olives, no salads options, no green leaves whatsoever... They only had fresh tomatoes with no taste. The feta cubes cheese they had sometimes, some cubes where spoiled, older it seemed. Otherwise, the eggs from the hot menu were all great.

This is a great hotel! From the moment we checked in and were handed a welcoming glass of sparkling wine, to the large, fun, comfortable room with a ton of windows (that corner room is awesome), to the convenient restaurant downstairs - it was all first-rate! The neighborhood, while somewhat distant from the city center, is nice and quiet and calm - perfect for recharging your batteries after a busy day in crowded Amsterdam!

Honestly, I can't think of a thing that I would change about the property. Its one drawback is that it's a bit of a jaunt to the city center, but it's close to transit, so that's really not a huge deal once you learn to navigate it.

I also spent a lazy afternoon in the hotel’s serene courtyard a hidden oasis perfect for unwinding with a book or a glass of wine. What truly sets Hotel V apart is the exceptional staff. Every interaction was genuine and kind from sharing insider tips on the best neighborhood spots to remembering my favorite drink at the bar. It’s that level of thoughtful service that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re looking for a hotel that delivers style, comfort, and top-notch hospitality, Hotel V is it. I left with a smile on my face and am already dreaming of my next visit. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. You can definitely pick a room from the hotel.

Beautiful interior, very spacious and comfortable rooms, the bathroom was big too, extremely clean everywhere. The hotel staff - everyone were all so very kind and helpful The location is great - just 5 minutes walking distance from the Amstel station, where you can use the metro, trains and trams to the other parts of the city. Coffee, breakfast and fast food places near the station as well. The area is beautiful and very green and peaceful. I recommend the hotel, one of our best stays, we're very thankful!

The hotel has beautiful interior , I really loved the interior and colours . It’s very quiet and has a nice outdoor terrace . The staff are very friendly and accommodating . The room was prob the biggest I have ever had in Amsterdam

I come to Amsterdam regularly but has never stayed in Amstel . Even if it’s a short train ride away from the centre it felt quite disconnected . The hotel is beautiful but for the price quite basic as no gym and one restaurant/ bar area . The bed was way too hard. for my liking .

I find this hotel so relaxing. I love the design elements, all the little architectural details and the way it’s visually so pleasing. One of the other things I also really like about it is that it’s incredibly quiet. I am a sensitive person and I love peace.. I have to say though that what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Without exception every single one of the people we spoke to was absolutely charming in a completely natural and unforced way. Often staff working in a hospitality are almost forced to be fake by their managers. But these people just are really lovely and kind and open and friendly and being with every single one of them made it all just really special. There was no sense of hierarchy among the staff either. I really liked that too. And of course, the fact that they’re bilingual and so proficient in a foreign language is also amazingly impressive. I know I will be returning to this lovely place.
