The room was nice and spacious. The service was good. There was well equipped gym. Ample indoor space for the leisure time. The restaurant was good and the menu was good. The front desk team was always making good effort to help the guests.

Although the breakfast was very nice, i found that was fixed. May be they can add make some change to it for those staying long. Even they can introduce some indian/ asian cusisine on some day of a week if not more. Of couse this will depend on the guest visting the hotel. But I being Indian will like to see some Indian cuisine added to their breakfast menu.

Helpful staff, good breakfast, excellent facilities, luxurious room and bathroom. Very good cosmetics are available and coffee, tea and water in the rooms are being replaced free of charge.

Currently some rooms are being renovated. Unfortunately, this was next to our rooms. I would have expect the hotel to inform us about this beforehand, or offer some kind of compensation. But more importantly, I would have expect the workers to only start drilling and hammering after 9 in the morning. They started well before 7 so I would have expected to consider other working hours when sleep is the core of your business.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff member. Before booking, we requested a room with a bath, and we were pleased to find that our request was honored. The room, while a standard size, featured several thoughtful touches that brought a smile to our faces, such as a handwritten welcome note, chocolates, and a few delightful surprises that I won’t spoil for you. The hotel’s vibe is primarily geared toward young adults, but as a couple in our 40s, we felt completely welcomed and at ease. The location is fantastic—just steps from the metro station, with only three stops to the city center and four to Centraal Station. Trains are frequent, arriving every few minutes. The surrounding area also offers excellent amenities, including a well-stocked supermarket, wonderful restaurants (Veganeese was a delightful surprise), and vibrant bars, such as the hotel's own bar and the Canvas bar across the street, which boasts stunning city views. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and walked back to Centraal Station, enjoying a scenic 30-35 minute stroll through the charming streets of Amsterdam.

The stay was absolutely perfect! The only small improvement would be the addition of a fridge, but aside from that, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

The staff were fantastic, always happy to help and very attentive. Really funky hotel being it was part student accommodation, with plenty of life to it. Bar/restaurant downstairs was a nice space to chill out. The rooms are very spacious. It’s very close to the metro, making get into the centre extremely convenient, also close to the River Amstel which is gorgeous.

We didn’t have any coffee cups for our entire stay, meaning we could not use our coffee machine, despite requesting these a couple of times. We weren’t aware renovations were taking place on our floor until we got there then they let us know, they were supposed to be doing the works between 8-5 or something along those lines however the work did definitely start earlier than that. Just something to be wary of with the new rooms.

Good location. Nearby a metro and 9mins to the tram. I find the lobby really functional and comfortable. There's a coffee shop on the side which offers some cookies and coffee to buy of course. For their guests they offer free lemon water and cookies just at the front. The staff looked so friendly and welcoming. They provide key cards for the room. We were given a room at the top most floor. I think that was 14th floor? and I was amazed of the great view from our room. Space was big enough for 2 guests. Also, I enjoyed the breakfast. Had a lot of options to choose like bread, sausage, cereals, croissant, muffins, waffles, fruits etc. The stay was worth it.

The location is perfect. Right next to the metro station in 2 -3 stops you are in the historical center. The area is quiet. It is a very good option really because you are very close to everything and don't have to overpay for a hotel. The room was modest and small, but clean and comfortable. The Hub has a lot of well organised public ares for work and meetings. The breakfast was very good with many options for all tastes. the restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner and I had all my dinners there. The menu is not big, but enough and the food was good. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Amazing building, even better staff, every single member we spoke with were so helpful and friendly. When we had to move rooms, they couldn’t have made us feel more at ease.

We originally were on the ground floor and at 6.30am I woke up to quite loudly hear banging and bass music from the gym in the basement below. So much so that I could feel it while in bed. Had to get up and request moving rooms. My only negative about this hotel is that they allow very loud activities in the gym far too early for hotel guests in bed to have to suffer. However, we got moved from this room to a higher floor and everything was perfect. That’s my one negative, maybe they should prioritise the sleeping guests early in the morning over gym goers.

The staff were great and always super cheerful and happy to help! This hotel is close to the metro and tram lines, so everything was super easily accessible. There's a nice restaurant (pricey mind you 8.50 for parmesan fries!!) The breakfast buffet has so many options and is worth a try! There's lots of spaces in the hotel to hang out and has a pool and ping pong table.

We didn't know this while booking but there is construction going on and so that was really loud in the mornings with drilling, also we got an "upgrade" to a signature room and from a previous stay this room was not any better and was smaller but still okay so not bothered too much just seemed like more money for nothing special. The biggest downfall was the heating in the rooms didn't work very well we could not get it to go above 19 degrees so was very cool and we should have brought warmer pjs.

Great location, close to the metro and much calmer than the city centre. Some quirky touches in the hotel, and the room was a good size. We were disturbed by drilling half an hour before our check out time so had to leave earlier than we had planned. We did however only move to the bar area, which was lovely, and I can thoroughly recommend the Iced mango coconut matcha latte. Breakfast was great, good selection of hot and cold options.

I wasn't a fan of the pillows, too large and firm. The bathroom was pretty small and cramped. Self service check in didn't quite work for us, although we did appreciate the glass of prosecco while we worked through the touch screen.

I visit Amsterdam a few times every year and have stayed in many different hotels, but for the last 4–5 years, The Social Hub has been my go-to place. This year, the hotel was under renovation, which caused a bit of inconvenience at first. But when I shared my experience with the staff after the first night, they immediately moved us to another room—and we absolutely loved the bathroom in the new one. The location is just perfect. It’s away from the chaos of the city but still super close to everywhere you want to be. We usually spend time around Leidsplein and Dam, and it’s just a quick 10–15 minute ride. Check-in and check-out are always smooth, and the staff is consistently kind and helpful. What I love most about this hotel is the attention they give to the little things. Everything—from what you see to what you use—feels carefully designed and intentional. They never settle for just standard; they add a personal, thoughtful touch to every detail, even the packaging. It just feels right.
