The room was nice and spacious. The service was good. There was well equipped gym. Ample indoor space for the leisure time. The restaurant was good and the menu was good. The front desk team was always making good effort to help the guests.

Although the breakfast was very nice, i found that was fixed. May be they can add make some change to it for those staying long. Even they can introduce some indian/ asian cusisine on some day of a week if not more. Of couse this will depend on the guest visting the hotel. But I being Indian will like to see some Indian cuisine added to their breakfast menu.

The location was very convenient: there are a convenience and drugstore nearby and several tramlines and metro that make popular sights like the Rijksmuseum very accessible. I didn't use the communal spaces, but took advantage of the cafe downstairs to grab multiple iced coffees: I found the coffee decent and the price reasonable. In terms of the room, I liked that there was an option to cast my own streaming services without having to input my login details. The kettle and complimentary tea and coffee were much appreciated, and I really enjoyed the bathing products - those smelled lovely. I slept with earplugs so the noise of the traffic didn't bother me, but it could be a bit noisy since there's a main road just downstairs. The staff was super friendly and seemed very interested in making the stay enjoyable.

Although the hotel room was mostly clean, I feel like the carpet hasn't been vacuumed before or during my arrival. There was visible chunks of debris in between the foot of the bed and the TV. Since my stay was short and I didn't have to pass by that area, I didn't complain to the staff, but did mention it during checkout.

Helpful staff, good breakfast, excellent facilities, luxurious room and bathroom. Very good cosmetics are available and coffee, tea and water in the rooms are being replaced free of charge.

Currently some rooms are being renovated. Unfortunately, this was next to our rooms. I would have expect the hotel to inform us about this beforehand, or offer some kind of compensation. But more importantly, I would have expect the workers to only start drilling and hammering after 9 in the morning. They started well before 7 so I would have expected to consider other working hours when sleep is the core of your business.

Honestly, one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Clean, spacious, welcoming, had everything we needed. Quick check-in, friendly staff, big lobby downstairs with games, cafe and a restaurant. It's possible to leave your luggage before/after check-out for free. The room itself looked great, beds were comfy, enough space for clothes and the bathroom had a hairdryer. And a big plus, the view!! We had a room on the 8th floor and the window being across the entire room made the stay so much more enjoyable. So beautiful! Thank you for having us:)

Not exactly the city centre, but close enough within a walking distance with a more local feeling, surrounded by cafes all over. The only thing we missed was a wall mirror. It's a bit pricey, but the stay was definitely worth it!

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff member. Before booking, we requested a room with a bath, and we were pleased to find that our request was honored. The room, while a standard size, featured several thoughtful touches that brought a smile to our faces, such as a handwritten welcome note, chocolates, and a few delightful surprises that I won’t spoil for you. The hotel’s vibe is primarily geared toward young adults, but as a couple in our 40s, we felt completely welcomed and at ease. The location is fantastic—just steps from the metro station, with only three stops to the city center and four to Centraal Station. Trains are frequent, arriving every few minutes. The surrounding area also offers excellent amenities, including a well-stocked supermarket, wonderful restaurants (Veganeese was a delightful surprise), and vibrant bars, such as the hotel's own bar and the Canvas bar across the street, which boasts stunning city views. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and walked back to Centraal Station, enjoying a scenic 30-35 minute stroll through the charming streets of Amsterdam.

The stay was absolutely perfect! The only small improvement would be the addition of a fridge, but aside from that, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

The Social Hub is not like any other hotel I have stayed in in Amsterdam (and I've been going there for years). The whole layout and vibe is fresh and modern. The rooms are a decent size - not enormous but just what you need as a base for exploring the city. The downstairs area is great with a fab coffee shop, plenty of working spaces, places to sit and a pool table. The gym looks amazing too (although we didn't have time to use it). The staff were amazing - super friendly and very helpful. It's got such an amazing atmosphere, there's always people around but not in a hectic way. It's got a friendly, social vibe - clue is in the title I guess! ;) We had rooms on the 12th floor overlooking the city. Also super handy for the train into the centre of town. We went with our two teenagers who loved it - very instagrammable!

The Social Hub is in an ideal location, 1-2 minute walk from the Metro and 3-4 stops into the city. It has a great vibrant atmosphere with a relaxed reception area, that includes a pool table and table tennis and reading area. Fresh lemon infused water, apples and mini biscuits were always a welcome sight after a day of sightseeing. Staff were always available and helpful. The coffee bar in reception is great for grabbing a coffee and a snack on the go. The rooms have kettles for making hot drinks.

The bathrooms have a wetroom shower, so this can make using the bathroom floor after a shower a little wet for others following. I am not sure all guests want or need condoms left in the room. The rooms have glasses for making hot drinks, a choice of a mug would be preferable.

Such a great location & excellent facilities. I love that it is only a very short metro ride away from central with the station basically just outside the hotel- perfect to have a quiet sleep out of the city with quick & easy city access if needed. Free self-serve laundry! Great breakfast & all day food options for reasonable prices. Very quiet & peaceful outlook with a beautiful view over the leafy suburb. Clean & great size- much bigger than expected. Modern with lifts! Even allowed me early check in with no fee, staff so friendly. I cannot fault them, will definitely be back

Only thing is no fridge in room which is difficult in summer, would like a very small one if staying longer

The staff were fantastic, always happy to help and very attentive. Really funky hotel being it was part student accommodation, with plenty of life to it. Bar/restaurant downstairs was a nice space to chill out. The rooms are very spacious. It’s very close to the metro, making get into the centre extremely convenient, also close to the River Amstel which is gorgeous.

We didn’t have any coffee cups for our entire stay, meaning we could not use our coffee machine, despite requesting these a couple of times. We weren’t aware renovations were taking place on our floor until we got there then they let us know, they were supposed to be doing the works between 8-5 or something along those lines however the work did definitely start earlier than that. Just something to be wary of with the new rooms.

Good location. Nearby a metro and 9mins to the tram. I find the lobby really functional and comfortable. There's a coffee shop on the side which offers some cookies and coffee to buy of course. For their guests they offer free lemon water and cookies just at the front. The staff looked so friendly and welcoming. They provide key cards for the room. We were given a room at the top most floor. I think that was 14th floor? and I was amazed of the great view from our room. Space was big enough for 2 guests. Also, I enjoyed the breakfast. Had a lot of options to choose like bread, sausage, cereals, croissant, muffins, waffles, fruits etc. The stay was worth it.
