We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Het Kabinet! From the moment we booked until the time we left, Carlos was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make our visit seamless. He kindly allowed us to have a very late checkout as our flight wasn't till much later in the evening. . The room itself is beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped (better than most hotel rooms!). The location is fantastic - tucked away down a quiet residential street yet just steps from the cool bars and restaurants of de Pijp. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Amsterdam!

This is an ideal location for a weekend in Amsterdam. You're around the corner from the market street, and easy tram connection to central train station. The neighborhood is quiet and clean (so don't worry about being on ground level), with great restaurants nearby. The apartment has a lot of thoughtful touches, and the bed is big and super comfortable. Carlos was very welcoming and gave us good tips for the area, I would definitely recommend this location to others!

Honestly no complaints, it was an exceptional stay

Carlos and Jan made us feel right at home before we even arrived! They were warm, friendly, and hospitable. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, clear labels and instructions, and binders filled with information and food recommendations. It was in a prime location for great eats and easily walkable to all the main attractions of Amsterdam. The bed was the comfiest we have ever slept in on the road and the pillow options were amazing.

Very good location, staff was very friendly, helpful., And accommodating. We got in on a very early flight and they were able to give us the room at 8am. All amenities provided.

The room is on the small side, had a bit of trouble with our suitcases as we were going on a long trip. But would be perfect for business travel or travelers not with a lot of luggage.

Lovely hosts, very comfortable bed, super clean, and a wonderful location! there’s a stocked fridge with drinks, such as soda, water, beer, wine. The hosts are super responsive about any questions or concerns and can lead you to wonderful places nearby to eat, etc..

It would be great to have a spot to put luggage and leave it open. The room is small with lots of cabinets if you wanna unpack.

Great location, close to nice restaurants and bars. The room itself is perfect and has everything you need for your stay - comfortable bed, well-equipped bathroom, tea and coffee set and a nice little fridge with complimentary sodas, beer and wine. The owners are so kind and eager to make your stay memorable, we loved all of their recommendations and the little details which showed us they genuinely care about their guests :)

Het Kabinet’s location was perfect. Although outside the city centre, it is situated in the middle of literally, everything. A couple tram stops are near the bnb, grocery/drugstores, cafes, coffeeshops, great restaurants, on to top that, the market. Furthermore, the amenities of the bnb were perfect. Complimentary drinks in the mini fridge on behalf of Carlos and Jan and coffee/tea are available. The bnb, although small was heavenly and comfortable. This was the only bnb where I referred to “home” everytime we wanted to go back. We literally would say “lets go back home”. It really is a piece of home in a very unfamiliar place. The bathroom, I cannot stress this enough… was freaking amazing. The pressure of the shower/shower handle, the cleanliness of everything in it, the provisions of toiletries.. everythign was amazing. To top all of this, one that struck me and my boyfriend the most was Carlos welcoming us himself warmly. Walking us through everything about the bnb, about the are and even helping us figure out the transportation. Furthermore, Carlos would ask us every morning if theres anything else we need in the bnb ~ new towels, coffee, tea, more toiletries. This BNB is the epitome of “dont walk, run”. I am already planning my next trip back to Amsterdam. I would book this place again IN A HEARTBEAT. Thank you Carlos and Jan for topping off our Amsterdam experience. See you guys, again. ❤️

Jan Willem and Carlos are wonderful hosts! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is excellent—well connected by various metro and tram lines. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and even a local market just a 5-minute walk away.

Greeted warmly by the owners who were very helpful throughout our stay. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows on our whole European trip. Beautiful room and bathroom. It felt like a luxury hotel room. Located on a quiet street. We appreciated the fridge with complimentary water, beer, wine and sodas. Also had a Nespresso machine and tea kettle. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you Carlos and Jan!

Amazing stay!! The host was fantastic, took the time to explain the local area and make himself available for any questions. The room was very comfortable with good storage & some complimentary drinks in the mini bar (wow!!). The tram to Central station is less than 50mtrs from the door. We would absolutely stay here again!! Loved it.
