Location was amazing, calm are near the park but it was walking distance from busy streets and vibrant areas. Metro station is 5 minutes away. The vibe of the hotel is also very fun. Decoration and rooms are very cool. Reception workers are very helpful and friendly. Very cool elevator

I had a mostly good stay at The Arcade Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I loved the hotel’s concept. However, there were some downsides. The bathroom had stagnant water, which was unpleasant, and the room wasn’t cleaned very well. Also, there was an LED light down the wall that wouldn’t turn off at night (or we couldn’t figure out how to turn it off), which was quite annoying. Overall, it was a nice experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

The property is very unique, gaming hotel. I liked the concept very much. The room was very clean, and cozy. The staff were very friendly and all of them speak English. They were very nice, let us leave our luggage’s early and make early check in and as well they let us leave our luggage after check out as well. They were super nice. The room was also very cozy and with nice atmosphere. The location is also close to the center it is 30 minutes by walk to Red Lights street, and there is train station near the hotel if you don’t want to walk. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The room was really nice and clean. We came quite early before check-in and they still accommodated us. The lounge had some fun activities to do, and our room had multiple consoles (switch, xbox360, ps4, and another console) you could borrow games through the front desk. Front desk staff spoke multiple languages (dutch, english and spanish from what we needed) and were very polite and helpful.

The deluxe rooms were on the ground floor so be aware that your window is directly viewable from the garden but there are 2 curtains available to accommodate that.

Everything was great, and it exceeded our expectations. 1. The room was very comfy. It had a nice balcony, very comfortable and soft beds, and it had all the facilities that a normal hotel should have. 2. It was placed in a great location. Everything was close by, and a lot of restaurants, parks, and great places to visit. 3. The game room was great. It's not very big, but it had some great games which you can play with your friends, and it had some old classics which I didn't expect to see them! 4. The style of the hotel is unique. It has so many gaming things and stuff, that every gamer will find interesting to explore. 5. The hotel has an awesome vibe, and it totally made our vacation! Comparing the prices and the quality of the hotels, this one is the best choice.

Great location to value option with an "in the neighbourhood" feel - easily accessible from the metro and/or tram from Amsterdam Centraal (the direct link to Schipol). Walking distance to cafes, shop, markets etc.. Comfortable clean room, bijou but more than sufficient for a one night stay. Helpful friendly staff & luggage storage available.

It was summer, and hot. Room equipped with ceiling and stand alone fan, but remained on the warm side. Room was over the back terrace/porch which made for a peaceful/quiet stay, but limited window open option in the evening...cigarette smoke rising from the terrace below.

The hotel is in a very quiet location, minutes walk from the metro station and nice restaurants and shops, with a beautiful park across the road. The room was very small, but very clean with a comfortable bed and nice linen. It is great value for money in a city where hotels are expensive. The staff were super friendly and helpful

The room was tiny, I stayed there with my young daughter, but if it had been another adult we would have struggled to both fit into the room at the same time with our suitcases.

The location was brilliant, the coffee, and hotel staff were all great! The themed hotel and rooms are very well kept. The hotel has a lot of cool art displayed. And some classic gaming memorabilia.

The room directly to the front was noisy nearly every night, ear plugs recommended. Although the coffee is great, the rest of the breakfast you can literally pick up in any supermarket, so maybe not worth 10 euros if you're headed out straight away in the morning.

We loved everything about this hotel my kids enjoyed every minute, however on the Saturday and Sunday night we were told me had to leave the downstairs area because it closes at 11.30 but when we checked in we were told the bar was 24/7 which it isn't because we were told to leave and we were not happy about this. And OH MY GOD THOSE BEDS, soooo comfortable I normally miss my own bed but this time I wanted the stay in the bed at the hotel they ate so comfortable. Most of the staff were amazing and super helpful and kind to the kids we had a fantastic stay just the sat and Sunday night that let it down.

The guy that worked on Saturday and Sunday night he wasn't very helpful it looked like a chore for him when the kids asked for something he wasn't very nice and the kids noticed so I didn't like this he also clos3d the bar and the downstairs area at 11.30 and we were informed it was 24/7 when we checked in. We felt like this guy told us to go to bed so he could get stoned out the back where you are not allowed to smoke joints he was smoking them and that was both night cos I seen the joint in the ashtray half smoked.

We stayed one night in the hotel, and it was fantastic: the room was spacious, and also included a bath-tub, which proved to be priceless after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was super comfortable, with heavy linen that made sure we had a good night's sleep. The reception was super friendly and flexible, we could leave our luggage in the hotel while we strolled around waiting for our flight. The location of the hotel was also quite nice: close to public transportation, many restaurants and cafe's in walking distance and there's a park right across the street.

Everything was super nice, can't complain.

Amazing experience getting to play the original Nintendo in the hotel room with a glass of wine. I want to live here! We got to experience the arcade and the breakfast was nice for the price and freedom to eat it anywhere. Would recommend to check the option to include the utensils on the breakfast form. We were able to order drinks and some snacks at the bar late in the evening, no problem. (~12AM). Everything was well decorated so the hotel had a real gaming atmosphere.

Small downside. The breakfast is good and diverse for the price and type of breakfast but there is less to choose from than usually at hotels because it’s made specifically for you.
