The location is great: it's still very much alive city, but slightly away from most tourist infested areas. Within 15 minutes away by foot you can find subway, shops open even at night, clubs, restaurants, street market, park, coffeeshop, red light district, anything you can think of, but the hotel street is quiet. All people we met working at the hotel are very lovely. Breakfast is simple but fresh and tasty. The room is also pretty simple but alright, as well as common toilet and shower. There is a backyard where smoking is allowed. Renting bikes at the hotel was a great idea.

Note that rooms are up the narrow steep stairs, up to 4th floor, no elevator. No air conditioner, but at least the room contains a small fan, a sink, and an openable window with curtains.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. The hotel was located in De Pijp, which is a very diverse neighbourhood. It was only a 4-minute walk to both the metro and tram. The neighbourhood is filled with great cafés and restaurants, offering more of a local experience. The hotel room was clean when we arrived. Hotel is a good value for money.

There was no daily cleaning service. We stayed for 3 nights, and our room was not cleaned once. There was no elevator, which might be an issue considering Amsterdam's narrow staircases. The beds were uncomfortable, but after a long day of traveling, we were too exhausted to care.

The hotel is nice with friendly and helpful staff. The bed actually has a foldable mattress, which is super cool. There is even a small balcony with a small desk in my room, perfect for me to work on my laptop. Their breakfast provides breads, ham & cheese, cereals, coffee, juice and boiled eggs (you have to cook it yourself with the cute egg boiler though). The hotel provides city bikes to rent for 12.5e per day. Unfortunately, even the smallest ones are a bit oversized for me (I'm 160cm, my bad XD).

However, please note that the stairs is quite steep, not friendly to those with heavy luggages. Both bathroom and shower are shared, but always kept clean and nice.

The room was small but very cute. I used a shared toilet and bathroom for the first time, but there were no issues at all, and they were very clean. The breakfast was quite nice and sufficient. The staff, especially Gabrielle, were very kind and helpful. The hotel's location is about a 30-40 minute walk to the center, but there is a subway station very close by. Also, a large street market is being set up very near the hotel. We were very pleased with our stay.

Not what I don't like, but the issues I want to identify are as fallows; The most significant issue with the hotel is the steep stairs. If you have walking, joint, or other related problems, this hotel may not be suitable for you. I also have a small suggestion for the hotel: if you could add a few small hooks in the room, it would be very useful for the guests.

The personel was very kind and attentive, they let me keep my luggage inside for a longer time while I kept exploring the city on my last day. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and organized. The location is also pretty good and close to the center of the city (you can also pick the Metro which drops you in Rokin in just a couple of minutes). They are also very kind enough to give you a map of the city and a list of their recommended destinations in case this is the first time you visit.

If I had to say something, there were some TV channels which weren't working at all, then again I barely used the TV during my stance so it didn't affect me.

Great location, interesting neighbourhood. Old Amsterdam traditional house. Really friendly greeting, helpful staff. We had cycled over 90km to Amsterdam that day ! They had good secure bike storage. Lovely relaxing garden (allowed to smoke there). Breakfast was good, coffee, eggs, cereal, toast and spreads (but lacked fruit and nuts - so we bought our own form supermarket). Excellent ice cream shop on corner. Everything you need nearby. A couple of metro stops from the centre. Felt good to be in real traditional neighbourhood in a relaxed and well-run place.

The room was very small ! And on the top, 4th, floor up the traditional steep stairs ( i guess this is how the Dutch make up for lack of hills!). Not ideal after cycling all day ! But we knew we had opted to stay in an old house - but if you find climbing stairs hard due to health or mobility issues, then maybe request a first floor room, as there was no indication of the steepnees of stairs when we booked. This is normal style for these old houses though. The Price seemed average for Amsterdam (it just is an expensive city for accommodation). No air-con, a fan was provided. But I guess usually not usually hot enough to need it, but it was a little warm in the room. Some more breakfast variety esp. having some nuts and fruit would be good.

I have had the chance to stay a weekend at the Bicycle hotel. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is nice and veggie, the area has a lovely park nearby, restaurants, caffes, market, etc. However, what I appreciated the most was the staff. I think I never felt so welcomed during a stay. Thank you for everything!

Stairs might be a little bit steep for people with limited mobility and there is no elevator; great to make some exercise after a typical De Pijp brunch. Mattresses might be a little bit soft; however, I have to say I slept very well.

Bicycle Hotel is a cosy, friendly, and affordable hotel in the heart of the hip district Pijp, connecting you super well by metro to Zoud (trains to the airport, The Hague, and more!) and Amsterdam Centraal. The hotel staff is lovely and super helpful: happy to chat, give tips for your city visit and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are well-equipped with everything you may need (including a sink and plenty of storage space), and super well-maintained bathroom and shower rooms are easily available on every floor. It's my second time at Bicycle, and I have never had to wait in line for either toilet or shower, so do not let that scare you!

The propety is a beautiful traditional house from Amsterdam. Breakfast was nice, the staff were really nice and helpful. Really special experience, not at all cold-hotel like. My room had a balcony, there is a garden too.

TV was not working, no shower gel (there was a soap at the sink) and bathroom light sensor turns the light off very quickly, after couple of seconds. Nothing that matters that much.

What a find!!! Very lovely hotel! All the staff were so welcoming! Best location! Cozy beds, hot water and very warm, it was very chilly when we were there. Would very much recommend and definitely will come back
