Staff were extremely polite and friendly. Really made us feel welcome. Our one small issue - the room key not working - was swiftly resolved. Beds were extremely comfortable. We decided to stay an extra night and the gentleman at the desk had it sorted within five minutes. Half an hour journey from Schiphol and 2 minutes walking distance from Vijzelgracht metro station with Albert Heijn right across the street and numerous awesome bars, coffeeshops and takeouts nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Minor things - the bedroom floor didn't seem to have swept prior to our arrival. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, but the shower screen was too small and there was no way to shower without drenching the bathroom floor. Not much else to say really. For the price, you can't complain.

The location is amazing. Very close to the big museums (Van Gogh, Ryjksmuseum), metro station (M51: 2 stops to amsterdam centraal -10mins- and very easy to go to the airport too) and restaurants and cafes. The staff was very nice. The reception is open 24/7. The rooms are small but good.

It would have been nice if it had some cabinets for storage, cups in the bathroom to leave stuff like toothbrush… the pillows were uncomfortable.

Great choice if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep during your stay in Amsterdam. It's close to the Heineken Experience, metro and bus stations and only a short walk from Museumplein. The hotel asks for a € 50 caution deposit in cash when checking in, so be prepared for this.

Although the hotel provides all the essencial items for your stay, the rooms aren't very confortable and also not so clean. The acoustic isolation is really bad, you can hear doors being opened and closed and people talking in the corridors (and even other rooms) all the time, so if you have a light sleep you'll probably end up waking up a few times during the night.

I was on the 4th floor with a 30kg suitcase and there is no elevator - Probably the worst moment in my 3 month holiday. The room is nice but literally enough to sleep and shower in, I couldn’t even open my suitcase in the room it was so tiny.

Location was perfect,good value for money,we didn't spend much time in the room so we had no problems

No lift, tiny rooms but I didn't pay much,alot of amsterdam has tiny rooms,if you want upper class this isn't for you it need alot of work in the stairways etc..the sister hotel just doors away is much better value.

The location is the point plus. The staff is also so kind and friendly. The room itself is okay and pretty much comfortable even with no view. I had good rest and enjoy my stay.

Great location, comfy bed, big clean bathroom.

Of course it's not the most luxurious hotel in Amsterdam, but you get what you pay for and therefore it's absolutely reasonable.

The location is the best, right in the heart of Amsterdam. Main attractions are within walking distance.

There was a strange smell coming from the bathroom.

The room was really nice, the location (15minutes to city centre) is perfect and there is a lot of shops around. Also the interior is really modern.
