big comfy bed and pillows!! best we have had in 5 weeks of travelling. the place looks just like pics, it was the perfect size for us and it's so cute. the views were insane! Canal right outside the window which is gorge! location was 10/10 too, all the shops you would need around you and a train station a 6 min walk away. Host was friendly and helpful too. please don't judge my messy photos, we were packing!

unusual smell in the bathroom, no big deal (not the first time we have come across this on our euro travels). shower door doesn't shut properly and floor can get slippery so be careful there. staircase is quite steep so hard to get big bags up. just to keep in mind if that would be a problem for you. you can hear a heap of noise from the street at night, I sleep with noise cancelling headphones on do didn't really affect me but it did for my partner. I would definitely stay here again though.

Location was amazing! So close to the city centre and so much to do around you! Shops restraunts and the most beautiful canal outside our room! Host was really helpful and accommodating with our check in times, always in hand when you needed her! Really happy with the cosy apartment!

We feel like the lock on the code was not very safe, there was also no safe in the room to leave your valuables which meant I had to take them out with me everyday which isn’t great! (Passports ect) also noticed the passcode on the comments on these reviews so I feel like this needs to be changed as that’s not safe

The canal views with tree lights outside the window, the character of the traditional building, it was a very clean apartment and a pleasure to return to after exploring the city , comfortable bed and good shower. Great host with quick communications.

Not the apartments fault but the noise from outside came through the windows a lot on a busy late Saturday night caused some sleep disruption but nothing too bad. Cant really fault the place anywhere else.

Our original booking at The Spiegelgracht was unfortunately unavailable due to an electrical fault at the property however, our trip to Amsterdam was made even more memorable with our stay at their alternative property in UtrechtseDwarsstraat. If you don’t mind the steep Dutch stairs this unique attic style studio was absolutely beautiful, very romantic and the perfect location for our 2 night stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better location with an easy walk to all tourist attractions. I also want to give a special mention to Dane’ at check in who went above and beyond to accomodate us. We can’t thank Dane’ enough for all her care in transferring our booking and luggage to the alternative studio. We highly recommend this studio in UtrechtseDwarsstraat 10/10

This is a lovely apartment in a very good location. The host was fantastic, offered us suggestions of places to visit nearby and stayed in touch throughout the trip via WhatsApp to ensure we had everything we needed. There were nice touches, like shampoos and conditioners, sweets in the room and daily coffee - and there is food and drink for sale in the kitchen that operates on an honesty system. We didn’t use it, but I thought it was a nice touch.

The room lock is too easy to open and can be opened from the outside without knowing the code by using a credit card or key to just push the mechanism open, but this is in a secured building so not a major issue. I didn’t feel safe enough to leave my car keys and passports in the room though.

The room was in a great location, only a five minute walk from the Rijksmuseum. On the third level of a canal-front street with a wonderful view from multiple windows. Despite being right on the street, it was pretty quiet. The apartment was large for city standards but did not have it's own kitchen....that was a shared room on the ground floor. They had Keurig coffee there for us.

Our main problem was the heat....it was not turned on and they supplied us with one tiny plug in heater which just barely got the room up to a comfortable level in about an hour, and you had to choose whether to heat the bedroom or the bathroom.

check in was a disaster. No keycode was provided so we had to wait a significant time to get in and the owner’s phone was constantly engaged. This was really frustrating and made me late for the event I had flown from Manchester to attend. The apartment was too hot due to heatwave and lack of air con.

The most fabulous host I've ever came across. Beautiful apartment in a fabulous location. We were within a few minutes walk to the metro, but we walked everywhere it's the best way to find the wee hidden treasures. Fabulous neighbourhood, we felt completely safe throughout the holiday.

Having to leave. The internal stairs are steep and shallow, but this is the norm in Amsterdam. Honestly I couldn't fault a single thing.

Amazon location and really cool traditional building with massive bathroom! The bed was really comfy and we loved the vibe.

The communal kitchen was a little dirty when we arrived but the host had it cleaned the next day. The room was very hot as it was 2nd floor and the windows didn’t stay open but there was a fan which helped.
