The hotel name on the building is not the same as in here. I kept looking for the hotel for a while while I was literally standing in front of it, it just did not cross my mind that the name would be different.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and the towel is included in the price of the reservation. The breakfast provide a diversity of choices

The fact that there isn't any shower gel that we can use in the shower place.

The location was great, in the middle of the 'Grachtengordel' (ring of canals), very beautiful and convenient for many attractions including the Canal Museum and Anne Frank House. Staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful. Our room (private double) was a fair size, comfortable and and accessible by lift. It was on the top floor and the shylight window showed a great view over the hostel courtyard and to the city beyond. There was a cafe/bar where breakfast was served, the breakfast itself was quite good and included eggs, ham, cheese, cereals, juice, bread/toast with spreads and fresh fruit. We tried several times to have an evening meal or lunch in the cafe but only managed it once, the food was good but the opening hours (apart from at breakfast) were a bit hit hit and miss (see below)

Cafe opening hours were a bit erratic and could have been better publicised. We arrived on Sunday 13th and stayed 3 full days, on only one of those days did we manage to have either lunch or an evening meal in the cafe. On our first night we arrived in the restaurant to find a large party having a meal, we were told that the kitchen had closed but got the impression that it had only closed once they had served meals to the large party. Don't want to be negative about this but if the hostel makes it a selling point that they have a cafe (this was one of the reasons we chose it) then they need to make it available.

It was really well located, and the staff was very nice. Earplugs were offered and the information previous to our arrival was very complete. There are lockers inside the rooms that are useful for keeping everything organized and secure (don’t forget to bring your own lock!)

The doors when closing make a loud noise that is heard all throughout the night with people coming and going (there’s no way to avoid making the noise). The water for both the sink and shower was not a continuous flow but rather a press and release mechanism that was uncomfortable, especially for the shower. The shower was also small and the water flooded the bathroom. The wifi did not reach the rooms well and, when it did, it was really slow.

I spent a few nights at this hostel in Amsterdam that, although located about 30 minutes from the city center, turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The area is quiet and peaceful — perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring — and public transport makes it easy to get around. The hostel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are cozy, and everything feels well-maintained. But what truly made the experience special were the people — both the staff and the other travelers. I met some truly amazing individuals from all over the world, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and social. One of the highlights was definitely the bar downstairs. It had a great vibe, served excellent local beer, and was the perfect spot to hang out, meet new people, or just relax with a drink in hand after a long day. All in all, even though it’s a bit outside the city center, I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and character-filled stay in Amsterdam.

Super friendly , comfortable and really clean hostel. all needs are met and if i needed anything personal was always helpful 😊 Easy check in/ check out. easy to reach. Restaurant/bar area to get breakfast or to hang out a bit is nice too. lot things to see in walking distance (15-20min) i would come again

Only little downside is that the bathroom and toilet where in one room, and its a whole wetroom area so bring bath sandals because the floor will be wet if you wanna use the bathroom after someone showered . and because toilet and shower in same room its sometimes bit hard to share with many people if the bathrooms taken - i dont know if it was only in this room and is seperate in others. but it was also a shared toilets near our room so in case someone blocked the bathroom for too long still possible to use that one 😁

This facility exceeded all expectations, I booked a private room that was spacious and clean and had a private bathroom, which I wasn't expecting but was a huge bonus. 30-minute walk to Amsterdam Central and a 2 minute walk to the nearest tram. Beautiful walk into the centre if that's what you enjoy with multiple stores to pop in and have a browse. The comfiest bed I have ever stayed in a hostel and even some hotels Vending machines in the lobby were fairly priced I received a token for a complimentary drink in the bar There was a variety of different options for the free breakfast, such as beans, sausages, toast, cereal, fruit, and yogurt Staff were all very friendly and helpful Can not recommend enough Will definitely be back

Not something that affected me but for others, they have a restaurant and bar instead of a kitchen or communil area You can only sit in there if you are getting food or drinks except for breakfast in the morning There is however a outdoor communil area

everything was nice, I was afraid of it being very noisy but it was actually very comfortable! Price very reasonable for this unnecessarily expensive city. best location, close to everything we walked everywhere. beds were comfortable, pillows were amazing. Morning/afternoon receptionists were nice and helpful.

The night young receptionist was rude and ridiculous, it looked like he had never worked with the public before, he needs to learn how to talk to people in a polite way because there’s no way he’s prepared, coming from someone who works at hospitality. I didn’t want to come back in the night just to not see his face. one suggestion is investing in a “curtain” system for the beds to provide a little more privacy, it would be effective and not expensive.

The room and attached washroom were very clean, and the customer service staff was friendly and professional. Further fresh towel was already available in the room. Customers can buy local public transport tickets at the counter.

I booked a bed space in dormatory room consisting of 8 beds. Bed space and hieght between 2 beds not optimum even you can not properly sit at the bottom bed. Never book a front room towards the roadside, as I hardly slept 4 hours due to the noise of vehicles, visiters, smokers, and night riders. Overall, my experience was nice. At Google navigation, there is a conflict in name, hotel and hostel. Check in at 3 PM and out at 10 AM, but it should be revised. Check-in should be allowed at 2 PM and check out at 11 AM.
