The staff is super friendly, the room was clean, everything was up to our expectations. Breakfast has a wide range to offer ☺️, but it could still be problematic if someone is following a strict vegan dietary.

We know that it isn't a permanent situation and the hotel can't do much about it but currently (March 2024) there is a huge construction site in front of the building which is noticeably in terms of noise in the morning and during the day.

The hotel location is very central and very conveniently located for attractions and transport. The room was very comfortable and the facilities were great. Proximity to a restaurant area was fantastic with a great selection of cuisine. Staff were friendly and helpful and reflected the owners approach to achieving a high standard. Well done!!

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Everything is on the doorstep. The staff were so helpful and anything extra we needed they were on hand to help. The room we had was lovely and so nice to be overlooking the canal. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. You will read reviews about it being ‘noisy’….its in a bustling city centre with a tram outside but it didn’t bother us and it wasn’t what I would describe as noisy. We loved it and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Nothing really. The only negative (which isn’t the hotels fault and hopefully they can raise it with the local council) was the overflowing rubbish bins near the front.

The location is excellent for sightseers like us. We ended up catching a tram from Centraal station to the hotel which is extremely convenient, but by the end of the holiday we'd become so accustomed to walking to everything that we never caught a tram again. You are within 30 mins walk of all the major tourist attractions, and many are much closer. It has a lovely lounge area which we enjoyed while waiting for our room (we were early so had to wait a short time, but not very long). You'll probably not spend long in the hotel though if you're like us and out and about every day. The staff were all English-speaking and very helpful.

The location is a bit noisy on certain nights of the week with late-night revellers yelling outside (a comment we noticed when looking at reviews before our stay). If you value an early night in a very quiet environment, then this might not be the place for you. However, we could tolerate it for one night and it didn't go on until the early hours, so we still got a good sleep.

The location is ideal and centrally located. The staff was extremely warm, helpful and friendly - as well as humorous. Made for a nice stay. Breakfast is bangers: fresh-squeezed orange juice, fresh egg dishes, endless coffee/cappuccino, etc., super cozy restaurant space and all very clean. Booked the room with a view of the canal - well worth the money: water dappling in the sun, boats driving by. Total vibe. The bed was so soft and big. Fridge in the room. The bathroom was the only real let down: tiles are cracked, the tub had those yucky anti-slip strips. Begs for an update but it was very clean. Lots of new, fluffy towels which they replaced the next day when they cleaned the room. There is a parking spot for loading and unloading the car in front. The entryway is very chic and the trimmings in the room are new and stylish. Would totally recommend and go again.

The location was fantastic. Perfectly positioned, tram right outside to hop on and off, but also lots of places in a walkable distance too. Beautiful view from the room over the canal. Having a lift was greatly appreciated so we didn’t have to lug heavy bags up and down the stairs like so many people warn about with other properties.

We inadvertently booked to stay during Kings Day! If we had been aware of this at time of booking we certainly would have chosen a different date. But if you like huge crowds, loud parties and being kept awake until 5am then this hotel is in the perfect location! We were in a standard room, which was perfectly adequate. It did just feel a little outdated and in need of some small improvements. Nothing major and nothing to complain about. For example the sink had a fine crack in it, the plug socket in the bathroom had a broken cover, the carpet has a couple of stains on etc. These would not stop me staying again, but worth bringing to the hotels attention.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit, new bread, eggs & bacon. Staff was polite and addressed my teenager for her needs. I like when they are treated like adults that have their own voice for what they want. The room was very spacious and the beds were good. Good bed is a must. Trams stoppes right outside the hotel.

I was supposed to have a canal view room, and I supposed one could say I did see a tiny part of the canal. My room was on first floor above the busy shopping street with the trams passing by every few minutes with their bells. I suggest the hotel offers ear plugs for us light sleepers. However, having the trams just outside makes this hotel an excellent stay, easy to get to anywhere.

Location is perfect far enough out from Dam square yet it has everything you need shops restaurants bars would highly recommend. No need for trams as everything in walking distance.

Only little hiccup was Sunday breakfast there was not enough tables by the time we came down so had to venture upstairs which meant was not able to order eggs or hot drinks and keep using stairs up and down.

It was right in the middle of Amsterdam central. It was perfect. Last time I came to Amsterdam I stayed near the airport. It was costly to go on the metro. Think it was around £70/80 I paid for the three days. (Something around that price not too sure exactly) it made more sense to stay in central the next time I came. Which I did - I stayed here. Honestly everything was at our doorstep. If you want to book somewhere that you can easily just access everything without needing to rely too much on transport this place is perfect. So cute that the property was right by the canal. Our bedroom window opened up to the view of the canal so that was picture perfect! They even offered us umbrellas when it rained

They were fixing the lift on the days of our stay - but they gave us free breakfast for the inconvenience so win win!

A well presented hotel with friendly front of house staff in a great lifer our favourite bars, restaurants and shops. Easy access by tram to the rest of the city.

The cleaning staff were inconsistent in the preparation of the room. We stayed for five nights. Some days we got a floor mat, some we didn't. Some days shower gel, coffee & sugar other days not. We intended to re use our towels as per the instructions but they were changed regardless. Not particularly good shop practice. I don't like to see the cleaning staff in an animated/heated discussion in public areas.
