Eline was so wonderful. She came and picked us and our luggage up from our previous hotel with her electric bike and luggage trailer. This was so fun. That fire has muscles to be able to lift our bags. She is so sweet and the room was perfect. Walk right down a few steps into the bright and clean and cozy room. It is supplied with drinks and candy and water and red and white wine. Free. That’s amazing when the other hotels we have had charge for everything even when you are paying three times more for their rooms. Eline supplies all for free. The room was bright and cute and furnishings are perfect. Has a table and bench and chair to enjoy some wine and cheese. We purchased the cheese at a store around the corner and was so yummy. This property is so close to the metro. We bought a one day pass on the metro and had maps in the room to decide On our daily plans. So Close to most places of Interest. Can walk easily. My husband had a sore knee and loves the trains so we got the pass. It works great too if raining or bad weather . Easy to use and the conductor on board can sell you the pass on board or just use your cc on and off for each ride. Very easy. They all speak English well and were very nice to help. Loads of restaurants and Eline suggested some as well. The room is well stocked with towels and supplies for showers etc. So clean and has coffee and nice selection of teas. Plates and silverware for sitting down for your cheese and wine. Couldn’t ask for more. Also they were up at 6:45 am to help us to the transport to the airport via private cab company. Highly recommend for future stays.

Millhouse Luxury Stay was absolutely the best accommodations we've had anywhere. Eline is a fabulous host, and the beds were super comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the central Amsterdam location was just perfect for all we wanted to do. We couldn't give a better recommendation- every detail was thought out to make our stay wonderful.

Very clean and friendly hostess. The room felt like you were home and not on holiday. We were able to walk or take the tram or walk to many attractions. We will definitely be back. Upon arrival we were given instructions on how to get to Milkhouse. They were very easy and perfect to the very minute we got there. We were greeted by our hostess Eline who was very welcoming and helpful with whatever we needed. Even letting us borrow her Apple charger until I was able to buy one myself, which Eline helped us find a close store who were friendly as well. Thank you for the in room snacks and drinks that were replenished daily. Even though we didn’t get to see everything. We will definitely be back to explore more of your beautiful city. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and by the canal. Walking distance to shopping, famous streets and everything on the to-do list in Amsterdam. Everything that will ensure your comfort has been considered in the room. It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Everything in the minibar was a treat. In the evenings, you can make your coffee from the Nespresso coffee machine and take a walk by the canal or sit on the bench and watch the magical view. The room was cleaned every day. The hosts Eline and Erik are extremely kind and caring. Even if we went to Amsterdam 100 times, we would still stay in the same place. We strongly recommend you to stay here to make your holiday most productive.

Breakfast was provided at the Bagel & Beans cafe as part of our booking, just a 75 mt walk to the Cafe , food was great Hosts Elaine & Erik went beyond just being hosts, they could not have done anymore to make our stay wonderful, wish we could have stayed longer Exceptional hosts & fantastic location in the Centre of Amsterdam, surrounded by Canals, Restaurants, Cafes & shops. Easy to get around on the trams & the people were very friendly & Elaine & Erik helped us to see & visit the best of Amsterdam during our stay

Eline greeted us before we even rang her! She came out to the street, took our bags and made us feel welcome! The room was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The space is well thought out. Lovely shower, a great coffee bar, fridge and complimentary wine, beer and chocolate! The location is perfect. There was information about the area as well as a map of Amsterdam for us to take along. Eline was available during our stay when we had questions. (there was a train strike on the day we were supposed to leave). She CALLED the train company and helped us figure out what we had to do to get to Belgium. Lastly, I left my credit cards in the safe and she texted me and offered to mail home. Lovely lady and lovely place.

Everything was great. The owner Eline welcomed us very friendly and luckily we could check in early. The room has everything you need. Coffeemaker, refrigerator with free drinks, very nice bathroom with very good care products and the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. The location is perfect. From there we walked all over Amsterdam, able to take breaks in our room because it is just in the middle of Amsterdam, but still quietly located in a side street. Breakfast was 100 m away at Bagels Beans and it was also very good. The tram stops 100 m away and you can reach everything by tram. When we checked out we could leave our luggage with Eline and pick it up later that day. We had a perfect weekend in Amsterdam 😊

We totally fell in love with the Milkhouse. We were well looked after by Eline (who stayed up late to welcome us to the room and kept our bags safe after checkout on our final day!). Communication was clear, friendly, unintrusive. The room was beautiful and clean, it smelled amazing, and has an extra big, comfy bed. The personal touches are fantastic - bath robes, underfloor heating, lovely toiletries, a fridge stocked with many different beverages, mini snacks and a new display book to read after the room gets made every day. The location is central and well-connected; the door opens up to the canal, with a tram stop 2 mins along the road, but it is still a peaceful area. Perfect for exploring the city - can recommend Bagels & Beans for breakfast, Hap-Hmm for a solid Dutch meal, Blauw for rijsttafel, and Winkel43 for apple pie! Thank you Eline & Erik :)

One pillow is very big/high, and one is very soft - this may not be everyone's preference

Wonderful unit in a private house along a canal. Super private room and very comfortable. It was like staying at a spa!! Bathrobes - fabulous shower - toiletries all top notch. There were sweet and savory treats, soft drinks, water, coffee, tea, beer and wine refreshed daily. The best part of the stay are the hosts - Eline and Eric. We arrived very early and they offered for us to leave our bags while our room was being readied. They invited us in for coffee and we chatted a while. Such nice people - I had noted to Eline about an upcoming birthday during our stay, and on the day, they left a bottle of bubbly and a gift!! We loved the small touches - little candies in a bowl, fresh flowers in sconces on the wall, daily picture books about art and Amsterdam. We highly recommend!
