The Dream Hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the key sights of Amsterdam. There are also several lovely cafes and restaurants close by.

I appreciate the hotel is in an old building (like most of the canal district) but the floor of our bedroom was so wonky that we had the feeling that we were falling out of bed! Our bed did actually have two mattresses, and the top one was wider than the bottom one which meant it over-hung and didn't provide any support!

Very comfortable room, good location, friendly staff, lovely decorations laid out for our anniversary, the room was great value for money.

I'm not picky, but 1 small pillow per person is not ideal, however, it did not ruin our stay, I did not feel so uncomfortable that I needed to ask for extra, but I do feel it wouldn't hurt to provide larger or additional pillows - if I rolled over, I had to take the pillow with me! Also, I dropped a hair clip under the bed and it was not very pleasant under there, thick dust and empty wrappers. Again, I'm not really fussy and I dont sleep under there, but definitely worth pulling the beds out and having a check now and again! Everywhere else however, was spotlessly clean.

Very good location and within walking distance of all the places in the city centre . The hotel was clean and decorated nicely and the staff were very friendly

The bed was not the most comfortable, quite hard but that’s up to preference . The water pressure in the shower wasent the best either . Apart from that it’s a really nice hotel and a good place to set up for a holiday exploring the city centre . One thing that might be difficult for some is the no elevator situation , we were on the top floor so those stairs were a challenge after a long day .

We like the location and the very clean and minimal decoration of the room! The location was perfect for us who’re in our mid 20s here in Amsterdam to have a great weekend in the city because it is so central! And right beside an area with bars, restaurants and clubs! A famous very delicious Korean BBQ is right in front of the hotel! 10 mins walk to Amsterdam Central! We didn’t take any transportation while we were there. The room was also very clean and had all the necessities! The staff was very very helpful. We especially really liked that there was 24 hour reception.

The good things weighed out the bad for this hotel as we only had 1 thing we thought was missing in the room we booked. And it is that there were no windows. We would’ve liked to air out but couldn’t. Because the hotel is right on a main stress there are some car noise but we are girls in our mid 20s and comes from big cities as well so we had no problem and actually didn’t even notice the car noises. Only when it was a car that drives by very fast but that happened once.

Location was amazing. Staff was very friendly. It was recently renovated.

Bed had a hole in the middle. Room was too small for the price paid. No elevators and you need to go up to 3 floors on Dutch stairs with your luggage.

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to all the main attractions and amenities, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The room itself was wonderful—spacious, well-decorated, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was also very clean and well-presented, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit.

We did encounter an issue with the shower. The rain head was blocked on our first day due to limescale buildup. I had to clean it myself, which was a bit of a hassle. Another point of disappointment was the lack of drinking water in the rooms. For the price we paid, I would expect complimentary welcome water bottles to be provided to guests.

Great location, very close to a square with lots of bars, only a 10/15min walk from the main “dam square” Amazing shower and heating which was great after long cold days! Room was spotless and even decorated for my partners birthday upon request, free of charge! Free WIFI, which worked very well, always a bonus!

We originally couldn’t use the TV, which of course isn’t an issue for some people but we are guilty of loving a hour before bed! We bought a HMDI to USB-C lead from one of the shops for around €15 and was able to play anything from my phone onto the TV! So this didn’t end up being an issue at all really :)

Great location, everything we wanted to do was pretty much walking distance. Staff were lovely and accommodating, they also looked after our bags after checkout so we could still explore before our flight.

Room was a little on the smaller side but expected in these city buildings. The room details specified 'soundproof walls' but not the case for us, nothing too loud from next door but definitely not soundproof. The property only has very steep and narrow stairs but again expected in these buildings, luckily we were only travelling with hand luggage otherwise we would've struggled with a big & heavy bag.

our room was spacious but the bed was not comfortable- it had a big dip or valley in the middle. the bathroom was really nice.

the stairs were small and hard to do down. the carpet in the hallways had stains all over, kind of noisy at night

This is by far the most welcoming, luxurious and memorable stay I have ever had in a hotel! They really exceeded all expectations from the beautiful decor and comfortability to the cleanliness and great customer service. I would like to give a huge thanks to the wonderful staff who really went that extra mile to give me a wonderful first experience in Amsterdam :) 100% recommend for anyone who needs a hotel visit in Amsterdam as it is also located in walking distance to all the main tourist attractions

Nothing, I genuinely can't fault this service I had a wonderful stay. If there was anything I didn't like it would be that I couldn't stay longer but that is no fault of theirs haha
