We stayed at the hotel for my friends birthday. I notified the hotel ahead of our stay and they decorated the room free of charge which was a lovely addition. The location is amazing, Rembrandt Square is a few mins walk away with plenty of bars/restaurants if you wanted to stay local. It's a 10/15 min walk to Centraal so out of the way of the main tourist areas. Would definitely stay in this area again.

We stayed in the superior room which was a beautiful size, the double person bath was stunning although it did have a crack down the middle which could be felt on the skin. The bed was two divans together with a king size mattress on top and very firm so we often woke up with the divans seperating and a gap in the middle. Without sounding like Goldilocks, the pillows were also slightly too big if you prefer a flatter pillows, easily resolved though - we slept without the pillows.

From start to finish, my experience here was absolutely amazing. The service from the moment I checked in until I checked out was warm, professional, and welcoming. My room was beautifully presented. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was simply amazing. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends and family.

The only downside was that, being street-facing in such a central location, it could get a little noisy at times. However, the hotel thoughtfully provided complimentary earplugs, which was a nice touch and made it much easier to sleep.

Extremely clean and comfortable...during our stay it was quite cold in amsterdam, so we had to turn on the heating, amd only I can say the heating is working great...the staff is very friendly... I must say that apart from being there for all kinds of information, they also provide excellent first aid. Since I got hurt while walking around Amsterdam, I had a deeper scratch that was bleeding, the guy at the counter took care of it like a real pro. The hotel is close to many attractions so ideally positioned. Although it is located next to the road, it is very quiet and you can't hear anything..

The Dream Hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the key sights of Amsterdam. There are also several lovely cafes and restaurants close by.

I appreciate the hotel is in an old building (like most of the canal district) but the floor of our bedroom was so wonky that we had the feeling that we were falling out of bed! Our bed did actually have two mattresses, and the top one was wider than the bottom one which meant it over-hung and didn't provide any support!

The location was fantastic. Very centrally located, felt like everything was within a 20-30 minute walk. Making it so way to see the city & tour around but never be too far away. The staff was kind & helpful. They assisted in bringing our luggage up & down for us. They made great recommendations for the area as well.

It was a hike up to the room since there is now elevator. Definitely got our steps in. I wish there was a better place to store clothes like a closet or dresser. There was a small stand to hang a few items.

Very comfortable room, good location, friendly staff, lovely decorations laid out for our anniversary, the room was great value for money.

I'm not picky, but 1 small pillow per person is not ideal, however, it did not ruin our stay, I did not feel so uncomfortable that I needed to ask for extra, but I do feel it wouldn't hurt to provide larger or additional pillows - if I rolled over, I had to take the pillow with me! Also, I dropped a hair clip under the bed and it was not very pleasant under there, thick dust and empty wrappers. Again, I'm not really fussy and I dont sleep under there, but definitely worth pulling the beds out and having a check now and again! Everywhere else however, was spotlessly clean.

The bed was not the most comfortable, quite hard but that’s up to preference . The water pressure in the shower wasent the best either . Apart from that it’s a really nice hotel and a good place to set up for a holiday exploring the city centre . One thing that might be difficult for some is the no elevator situation , we were on the top floor so those stairs were a challenge after a long day .

We like the location and the very clean and minimal decoration of the room! The location was perfect for us who’re in our mid 20s here in Amsterdam to have a great weekend in the city because it is so central! And right beside an area with bars, restaurants and clubs! A famous very delicious Korean BBQ is right in front of the hotel! 10 mins walk to Amsterdam Central! We didn’t take any transportation while we were there. The room was also very clean and had all the necessities! The staff was very very helpful. We especially really liked that there was 24 hour reception.

The good things weighed out the bad for this hotel as we only had 1 thing we thought was missing in the room we booked. And it is that there were no windows. We would’ve liked to air out but couldn’t. Because the hotel is right on a main stress there are some car noise but we are girls in our mid 20s and comes from big cities as well so we had no problem and actually didn’t even notice the car noises. Only when it was a car that drives by very fast but that happened once.

I had a great experience during my stay. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the garden, which I really enjoyed. The location is excellent — convenient and close to everything I needed. The staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. They even assisted me with my luggage, which I truly appreciated. Thank you very much for the warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return soon!

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to all the main attractions and amenities, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The room itself was wonderful—spacious, well-decorated, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was also very clean and well-presented, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit.

We did encounter an issue with the shower. The rain head was blocked on our first day due to limescale buildup. I had to clean it myself, which was a bit of a hassle. Another point of disappointment was the lack of drinking water in the rooms. For the price we paid, I would expect complimentary welcome water bottles to be provided to guests.
