Very very good location and personel very kined,perfect breakfast.

I was on the top 8th floor and in the morning I had to wait a long time for the lift. Was only coffee in the room, no tea (I don't drink coffee) and at the reception desk downstairs, the tea machine was only open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., in my opinion it should be open 24H.

Perfect location. Clean and comfortable throughout. Staff all multi lingual

The size of the bathroom was challenging for us. Plus, there is no privacy from the bedroom in the bathroom

The room was excellent with space for luggage. There were two closets for hanging but no drawers. There was a great terrace which was a real bonus. The bed was comfortable. The space was beautifully designed but not very functional.

The room needed a mini-frig. We were there for six nights and having a frig in the room would have been convenient. Ice was available on the the first floor, but the containers/buckets were not insulated. There was no drawer space and the bed side tables were not functional. The small credenzas was not adequate space. House keeping was not diligent with keeping the room clean.

The hotel’s location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the metro station, making it convenient to reach the airport via the central station. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive, providing precise and exceptional service.

If you’re accustomed to sleeping in complete darkness, you might find the toilet’s motion-sensor light problematic, especially as it could disturb the other person sleeping. Fortunately, I had read about this issue in other reviews before booking and brought an eye mask, which solved the problem perfectly. However, I would recommend that the hotel consider installing an on-off switch for the light, allowing guests to turn it off during the night if needed.

The location was excellent. There were many small shops and restaurants conveniently located nearby. I enjoyed the bulb vendors just around the corner on the canal. The short walk to the tram made movement around the center quite easy with tap on, tap off credit card. The lounge/lobby area was stocked with water and self-serve cafe. The breakfast served adjacent to the lobby offered a variety of options for even this vegetarian. The staff were welcoming and helpful with directions and calling for taxis.

There was only one lift although it did accommodate 5-6 people without luggage. This is common in an older city like Amsterdam.

The location is absolutely central to everything you might want to do in Amsterdam. Rokin subway is 5 minutes away and trams 4 and 14 are also 5 minutes away. Rembrandt Plein and the gay street are 5 minutes away. Museums are about an easy 20 minute walk. The room is comfortable and the staff excellent. They provide a pamphlet of nearby restaurants and you have to try the Indonesian rice table while in Amsterdam.

The bathroom. It has an unfortunate design with an open shower and not enough room for a grown man to turn around. The floor gets very wet so there is always a mess after you shower. Some strange squeegee pole is included but it didn't work very well. The shower head is a rain shower which never gives you what you want for a shower. An additional hand held is included but better aim it the right way or you will flood out the whole room.

Very comfy bed. Unlimited Nespresso pods. Somewhere to sit. Kitchenette was useful. Bathroom lovely and big and shower lovely and hot / strong.

Pillows are horrendous - giant thick things that gave me neck pain. After some more delivered I finally found one that was normal thickness. There's a "closet" with a hanging rail less than 3' off the floor. Useless for dresses. And the shelves were full of housekeeping items. No chest of drawers. No luggage rack. So we lived out of suitcases on the floor. A real let down for an otherwise very comfortable apartment.

We visited Amsterdam to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and we weren't Disappointed. I requested some extras for our room which were placed in the room before check in. We arrived earlier than check in and were able to to check into our room upon arrival. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. You are given a map and discounts upon arrival. We were also given a free drink voucher which was lovely. The facilities are very stylish and comfortable. Our room was lovely as expected, the only downside was the shower which was more of a wet room so the bathroom gets a little wet when showering but it's easy to manage. Overall, great experience. I would recommend to anyone who wants a inner centre stay.

The warmest welcome awaits at The Albus, with a great team and a sparking welcome drink. Reception is beautifully decoratedwith either bar seating or comfortable sofas. Our room was on the fourth floor and, although not generous in size, was a perfect fit for two of us. The bed was comfy and the shower room was spacious and clean. Overall it was tastefully decorated and really well looked after. The Albus is in a great location in Amsterdam. If you like a walk, everything is in walking distance. If you struggle with walking then you're two minutes away from Rembrandtplein with its excellent tram service that will whizz you around the city with ease.

Absolutely everything. The Albus is a fabulous hotel. It's clean and well located with spacious rooms. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. We got brought to our room by the receptionist (didn't get his name but we checked in on February 26 around 4pm). He was so nice and a pleasure to deal with. Shops, bars, restaurants, museums and the flower market are all within walking distance as is the train station. Rooms have big televisions with Netflix and You Tube available. I have now stayed here twice and will be back. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Albus for a wonderful stay.
