Location and view from the window

Inside the room some things are not in full functional condition. For example shower, faucet and other. There is no mirror. Bathroom is not neat. In general, we were in the room less, were more on the street. The windows overlook the central square. It is impossible to sleep at night, you need to close the windows tightly. It was hot. Additionally, you can note the fan in the room. So all night parties, on the square there are many local restaurants, discos and coffee shops. Very loud all night. Also, the hotel does not provide the ability to enter for people with disabilities, this must be taken into account. Very steep stairs, even to enter the first floor.

Staff were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The room and en suite were clean and well looked after and the bed was very comfortable. The room had windows that I could actually open wide, this made dealing with the heat so much better. Having a fan in the room was also a really good idea, I was just as happy with a fan and open windows as I would have been with air conditioning.

The room was a little cramped. Room and hallways seem a bit tired and dated (although clean, I do not want this to be seen as anything negative about housekeeping which was great) and could probably benefit from a bit of freshening-up/redecorating.

The location is perfect. It is also very suitable for socializing. There are restaurants right below the facility. The tram is right across. And it has rooms with a very nice view overlooking the square.

The general building structure in the Netherlands has narrow and steep stairs. The elderly and families with children may have difficulty.

The location is super great! You can walk to everything shortly. The Staff was soooo nice and they take care of their guests and always have a solution for everything. Everyone saying something about its to loud and blabla well you booked in the middle of Amsterdam a Hotel and everyone knows that there is alot of ppl and party going on! If you dont like that then pls book a hotel near a cemetery!!! Definitely dont blame the Hotel for that and give them bad recession for that!

Really nice staff, 24hr and always friendly. Tea + coffee at reception was great, location couldn’t have been better; could see Rembrandt statue from the window, room was clean and comfortable with extra pillows in cupboard. Room was super cosy as had radiator, fan and window so never too hot or cold. Really good value for price will definitely return.

there was a receptionist whose name is i dont know (he was at the desk on 2th of november afternoon) but he is from cairo and his father in law was from antalya; he was very kind and genereus. altough i have booked wrong room; he helped me to upgrade 1 night and the other days give me a better room with a good view. me and my wife were so glad and appreciate that thankfully. this was my 6th visit to amsterdam and for sure he was the best receptionist in amsterdam. many thanks.

It's very central. Squillions of restaurants, canals, cafes, bars, trams, gyms, parks and everything close by. The hotel opens onto a busy square bordered by restaurants and pubs. 3 minutes walk to a bunch of gay bars and 10 minutes via tram to the rest.

My room overlooked the square, which was kinda cool but it was very loud late into the night every night. I played a sleep playlist very loud to drown it out, which worked pretty well. Bring a small speaker and/or earplugs if you stay here.

The location is amazing, I was a little worried as I arrived Onan Saturday night and the square can be very busy until the wee hours, but my window overlooked the square and once closed, it was 100% sound proof. I loved being right in the hustle and bustle, all sorts of shops and restaurants near by, about 18 minute walk from Amsterdam Central. Walking home alone late at night never felt uncomfortable, the staff are all fabulous. They do offer a breakfast, but I was always out and about so didn't partake! The temperature was great (a radiator you can turn to your preferred temperature) the bed was comfortable. No complaints from me! ☺️ I would definitely stay again on my next visit!

The bathroom could use some updates, I used the bath tub as the shower didn't have enough pressure for me.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are shabby in vintage style. Shower and sink were shared but very clean. I can recommend it for your travels with your eyes closed

It is old building i think thats why the stairs are too vertical. Poor accessibility for people with disabilities or walking difficulties.

A very comfortable and clean hotel to stay in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Located right on Rembrandtplein; tram #4 and #14 stop on the other side of the square. Breakfast in the hotel was basic and reasonably priced. I'd stay here again.
