an amazing location, super easy to catch public transportation, right in front of the building, move around downtown was super easy and the hotel installations are super clean & safe. Even the shared bathrooms were nice & clean.

rooms were super small, we were 3 people tighten up inna tiny room, felt like Anne frank. If you have a room with Rembrandt square view, prepare for a party all night long, as the square is full with teenagers till the early morning. lucky we had an inside yard view room and was super quiet at night.

My Birthday weekend in Amsterdam: Room 22 was very comfortable, clean and quiet, did not hear a peep from outside at night, take ear plugs for returning guests Bathrooms where always clean and tidy. Location was amazing, used as a base to wander around your beautiful city. We did not have breakfast during our stay, we popped over to the Irish pub. Will be back. Great location for walking around city, hop on the number 4 or 14 tram. 3 nightclubs on square, lots of bars, try the smaller bars, used by locals and not rammed.

Pillows, check and replace pillows more often, ones in room 22 are past there best. Picture on TV not great or maybe it was the TV itself. Not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues, no lift and stairs are steep, as are most in Amsterdam

The location of this property is nothing less than AMAZINGLY CENTRAL with lots of buzz and night life there. Now, the rooms facing the streets were VERY LOUD and pick up ALL the night club music vibrations from below music bars throughout the night and until early morning, so very hard to sleep. Therefore, the front desk gives away ear plugs. However, the room facing the back (where I was moved to on the second night, was very comfortable, CLEAN and private. Rooms at this hotel are sparsely decorated. Some have a table, some don’t. No wall hooks, no closets, no hangers, but a chest of (3) drawers. There are two shared bathrooms on each floor and they are seldom taken. Front desk staff was on the young side and very accommodating of my needs. They are knowledgeable and friendly. The Rembrandt Hotel have a coffee lounge that is comfortable. They offer free coffee or tea throughout your stay. A small fridge also available there on the lounge. Best aspect here was surely it’s central location.

Front room was very loud THROUGHOUT the night and until early hours! (Room on the back was quiet, private and enjoyable)

Location!! One of the best! The karaoke bars on the other side the square was a great way to end the night… not so much the 5 flights of stairs but the room and shared facilities were fine! Overall can’t complain, had a great trip :)

You’ll definitely get your steps in if you’re staying on the top and it can be a chore to climb especially after a long day walking but the room is decent at the top and the beds were comfy

The Rembrant is just perfect for your stay in Amsterdam its a good clean hotel.The rooms are slightly small but they are clean and provide everything you need.Super comfy beds aswell and considering its next to a night club the noise is absolutely fine i slept no problem at all.The staff are super friendly aswell which makes a big difference.At the bottom of the stairs you have vouchers you can use we saved a fortune using these which are free for you to take.Its open 24/7 so you can come and go as you please.We are going to be booking again every year for our annual trip.Its so close to everything.You can catch the metro directly outside in to the main town and also to the train station.Theres a cool cafe a few minutes walk called Balous they are cheap and friendly and have lots of different types of "coffee".Its a fab little place.100% recommend.Thank you

Boiler was broke so a tad cold of the night but they were waiting to get it repaired.

Great room and shared facilities. Clean and tidy. Great location, great atmosphere, and open later than elsewhere (Damrak, etc) Perfect access to Central Station across the square (Trams 4 & 14)

Rooms are a bit small, warm, stuffy, and can't have window open at night due to the noise in the square(if the room is at the front) Would have been nice to have towels replaced and bin emptied during our 4 night stay. I'm sure we could have asked, but we were out early and back late daily.

This place is amazing, i don't get why people don't rate it 10. For the price and location, it exceeds any expectations. Super clean, lovely lovely staff there all the time, exceptional location for like 20% of the price of any other hotel in the area! Bed was super comfy, everyone was super chill. Will stay here again for sure.

Staff was super friendly and open to share suggestions around the best travel experiences to have in AMSTERDAM. Room were super clean and ready to settle down. Good deal if you are going with your friends and this hotel is located in the prime location of party and everything you need to do in AMSTERDAM.

Like every other hotels in this city, the stairs are too steep. but i cannot be dissatisfied as it is the same across the city.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, opposite a popular tram route, surrounded by bars, restaurants etc! Perfect for groups of friends! I was nervous about a shared bathroom however they were clean and practical! There is some street noise however free ear plugs are provided and we were able to sleep well! Obviously this is not a 5 star hotel however if you only need a base this is fantastic value!

You can not ask for a better location (if you don't have kids and want to enjoy the nightlife). I walked 20 min to the Heineken Experience. It's about 15 minutes from the red light. The Uber from the airport was under 30 minutes.

Stairs are steep, but that is hardly their fault. If you have kids, you might want to consider another hotel. This is deadset in Rembrand Square at the top of a coffee shop. Perfect to party. Not so perfect for families.
