The host Paulo is very friendly, and the experience was very easy from start to finish. The booking process was very simple and the provided instructions for check-in were very detailed. Paulo provided a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs cooked to your liking. He had great recommendations for what to check out in the city. The location was also fantastic and very central to the main attractions Amsterdam has to offer - 20 min. walk to Anne Frank House, 15 min. walk to Heineken Experience, etc. There are also great restaurants, bars, and coffeeshops within a 1-2 mile radius of the B&B. The room was clean and perfect for our 3-day stay.

These were not things we did not like, per se, more just some FYIs. The stairs to enter the rooms in the basement are very narrow and steep (Paulo helps you bring your luggage up and down). Also, the shower does not have a full barrier so water can get on the bathmat so just be careful.

the location was amazing. my partner and I were working/studying abroad - the space is not enough if you both have calls. however as the location was so central and convenient, we were able to go to different cafes and work spaces, such as the OBA public library that Paulo kindly recommended the best part about the property was Paulo. He really made the stay - such an attentive, thoughtful and accommodating person. Breakfast upstairs each day was such a lovely experience for my partner and I, we miss the vibes already! Couldn’t recommend the property more.

Amazing place for couples, Paulo was so accommodating nothing to big or to small, room was spacious and ever so clean, bed was comfy, everything worked as it should, breakfast made by Paulo himself he went the extra mile, made us smile and made us feel like family, i haven't got a bad word to say! As soon as he has a booking available we will be booking again. So again Paulo thank you soo much for making our first stay abroad together the best 👌 👍 xx

I cannot help but gush about B&B Keizers Canal. Paulo met us when we got there. We immediately felt at home. He took care of us as if we were close family. Our room was very cozy and clean. Paulo made an effort to freshen up our room every day with clean towels and a general clean up. Very special. Breakfast was the highlight of our day. Paulo would meet us every morning with the most delicious cup of coffee and fabulous breakfast. Such a lovely and gracious host. We look forward to returning one day.

The host Paulo was amazing - made us feel right at home and we enjoyed some lovely conversations. He was great with his suggestions and tips. We will definitely be back. The room was great and the amenities like tea/coffee were great. The wifi worked great and Paolo treats like you are his friend and cooks up a mean breakfast with everything one could want.

Nothing - it was one of the most perfect stays we had

Everything was good, The location is very good and near the trams. The rooms are comfy and cosy. The host made us breakfast at the time we requested and was there to prepare some more stuff if we needed it.

The only thing I can say is the balcony is slightly humit as it is a semibasement and above is the house's balcony (but the rooms are well ventilated so no humidity inside). But you already know that as the description of the place is very accurate. So, if you read the description carefully you won't be dissappointed.

Everything was perfect, from the arrival information, being able to arrive earlier to store the luggage; Paulo was amazing, so helpful and friendly; the rooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable; excellent location for all the sights in Amsterdam; and the breakfast was delicious and generous. We really enjoyed our stay, it was excellent, thank you!

The stairs to the subterranean apartment are steep, but we were forewarned and expected that. We therefore arrived with minimal luggage, so all worked out well.

This place is awesome because of the host and location. Paulo is the kindest most helpful host we have had at a B&B. The breakfast was delicious and he is great company. The location is very close to a tram stop and is walk-able to the Dam Square area as well as the museums. Easy access to Metro as well. The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

The only minor drawback was the stairs. Paulo took care of our luggage so it was no big deal to us.

Loved the location in a downstairs room in a canal house. It was clean and tidy and was close to transport and great restaurants and cafes. Our host Paulo was knowledgeable and helpful when we needed advice on transport options and places to visit.

Pablo was an excellent host and provided a generous and delicious breakfast. His location which is a short walk from the Rembrandt Plaza very convenient. The room was underground but had a window; it was quiet at night in this neighborhood of late night establishments and other conveniences such as tram, buses, grocery store, etc within a short walking distance.

A small refrigerator but I believe I could of used his upstairs kitchen frigerator for some small items had I of needed.
