Great location. Sorted an issue with the shower very quickly. Friendly staff.

Perfect location, very central (tram, restaurants, Rembrandtplein…) yet very quiet. Staff was nice, jovial and helpful. Functionning (and quite powerful) A/C in the room. Small elevator to reach the higher floors. Acceptable price for such a location.

Comfort feels a little below average for a 3 stars hotel : frayed and rough towels, very clean yet discolored sheets, threadbare duvet cover with a small hole, small stains on the walls and ceiling (looked like dead bugs and ink ?) Nothing concerning (this is the kind of things you probably have at home) but it feels weird in a 3 stars hotel.

rooms were nice, lovely and close to the city centre, staff were very friendly, we were on the 3rd floor and had a lovely view

shower could do with something to stop water from running/splashing into the toilet area as clothes can get wet, nice that the towels were changed daily although they weren't consistent with how many towels were given each day as we had 1 between the 2 of us!

some of the previous reviews i saw were pretty bad but my experience was the opposite. Although basic, this was a much bigger room and bathroom than expected and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free wifi and the free tea and coffee machine was a nice touch

only thing was the tv didn't work but no big deal as i didn't come to the city to watch TV. The staff also offered to fix this but i said no need.

We spent 3 night at Armada Hotel. We arrived in Amsterdam at 21:00, we took the train from Schipol airport to Amsterdam Central station, then we walked bc it wasn't far and we wanted to enjoy a walk around Amsterdam. Once we arrived at the hotel everything was ready for us and the staf was very friendly and helpfull. The room was small but it was more than enough for us since we were out all the day. The room view was amazing! It was cleaned every day. Hotel was in a great area and everything was near, we reached every atraction by foot. There was a market nearby and very good placed were you can eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. We loved that it was a very quiet place and we slept so good and comfy during the night. The room was very warm, we didn't need AC

I was 10/10 happy and recommend every tourist visiting Ams.

Lovely helpful staff, clean hotel, comfy mattress on the bed. We were able to store our luggage both before we checked in, and after we checked out before our journey home. The hotel was in a fantastic location, very easy to get to and had a tram stop right outside which was very convenient. There were coffee facilities and vending machines in the foyer, which we didn’t use but had the option to (coffee was complementary)

One pillow folded over in a pillowcase, rather than two pillows on the bed

The room was very beautiful, quiet, clean, renovated, small but functional.

The bathroom, although renovated, was not functional at all. The sink was very small, making it impossible to wash your face or brush your teeth. Directly above it, there was a glass shelf that definitely needs to be placed higher or in a different location. Also, when someone takes a shower, water comes out.

This hotel has a fantastic canal view which is the highlight of where the hotel is located. (Make sure to request canal view when booking) It is about 30 mins walk from Dam Central Train Station and about 8 mins walk from the Metro train. Lots a nice cafes and bars on the way if you are looking to explore. Also great location for pictures. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were standard but excepted as rates are cheaper. If you are looking to sight see all day I would recommend this hotel. We did not get breakfast here we went out every morning.

Note - the only way up to this hotel is via flight of stairs. There is no ramp or hill if you require this. Also there is one vending machine on the ground floor and it only takes coins. No card is accepted.

Great location for Rembrandplein and Leidseplein. The room and bathroom were perfectly fine and especially good value for money. Nice cafe/bar next door for morning coffee and a supermarket down the road.

A small fridge and kettle would be useful in the room but not a big deal for a short stay. Due to summer stay the cafe/bar next door was busy with outdoor seating so pretty noisy until 1am. If you are looking for an early night a higher floor bedroom would be better.
