The location is excellent. It is very close to the city center and there are plenty of cafès, restaurants and stores in the area. There is a Jumbo supermarket only a short walk away. There is also a very good breakfast/brunch place nearby which has delicious gluten free sandwiches. (Joe and the juice) There is also an excellent ramen restaurant right next to the building. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He helped us with our luggage on the first day. He also let us leave our luggage in the apartment even though we arrived too early. The beds are comfortable and the shower is also good.

The stairs are very narrow and steep. A kettle would have been nice to make tea.

The location was great - really fun neighborhood, close to transportation, lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The owner (who lives on the floor below) is super nice and helpful. He gave us a lot of good recommendations and even offered us his living room to watch the soccer game when we couldn’t get the tv to work in our place. The beds were very comfortable. There was a little fridge and a pod coffee maker and kettle to use.

I didn’t love that the space wasn’t entirely private. We had one key so we let the kids keep it so they could lock their door at night if they wanted, ours was then unlocked. The bathroom opens right onto the landing - again, it’s not likely the owner would come up there, but it’s just open. The stairs weren’t a problem for our family and we bring minimal luggage when we travel, but if you have any issue with steep stairs or if you bring full sized luggage, this might not be a good choice.

Highly recommend! We liked everything! Location is exceptional, very close to the city centre and all landmarks in Amsterdam so we didn't use public transport at all. Also, there are various supermarkets/shops and restaurants nearby. Stan, the host, is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. He helped us with our luggage up the stairs and allowed us to store our luggage in his apartment downstairs before our flight. As for the amenities, the place has everything you need for a few nights' stay.

I liked everything about property. There was no problem at any points. Rooms and bathroom was clean and so enough. Big rooms window view was nice. Location was central, metro was near the apartment. Unfortunately sometimes we bothered the Stan, but he was so nice to us. He is so friendly, so gentleman, so helpful man. Thank you for everything <3

Great little apartment. Light and airy. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Fine with just fridge and kettle and coffee machine. Good location. A few mins walk from the tube station. Very easy from airport. Stan the host was very helpful and lives on site.

Be warned it’s about four floors up and tiny narrow stairs. Not a problem at all for us but might be for some. It was not cheap at c£350 for one night but think this reflects the prices in Amsterdam rather than it being a particularly expensive property.

The only negative I have about the flat is the steep steps leading up to it making taking suitcases up fairly difficult however the host helped with our bags and was great help and good exercise!

It's not really and apartment, it's two rooms and a bathroom, one of the rooms has a table and some glasses and silverware, but theres is a small fridge and coffee maker, it worked perfectly for us, because we bought thinks to eat that didn't need to be coocked. Stan really makes it easy with all the information and the help at the arrival and at the departure with our bags, he let us keep the luggage at the place until we left to the airport, wich it was very easy beacuse the metro is just a few steps.

Just the steps, 5th floor with no elevator, but Stan helped us with the luggage, thank god!!!! 😁

The apartment was located a short walk from a number of tourist attractions and night life including the concert venue we were attending in Amsterdam. There was an abundance of food and drink options also nearby. It was a short train ride from Central station making the transfer to and from the eurostar incredibly convenient. The apartment had a lovely bathroom and the beds were comfortable making the stay enjoyable. Our host was also incredibly friendly and welcoming to us.

The apartment is based on the top floor with access via a very steep staircase climb. For us this was something we were capable of dealing with however be wary if you are older or suffer from disabilities or have young children. The trade of however was a great valued apartment in a decent location!

Very cozy and clean. Super comfy bed and good location. Metro a few steps away will bring you everywhere! Host very helpful and nice. We had a great time there! Super affordable also!

If you don’t like stairs, can be a problem. For us wasn’t.😅 (rooms in the 4th floor).

Location is great. Very convenient tram outside and subway nearby. Grocery store is also close by. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Rooms were fine for what they were.

All good, to be honest. Appreciate that it is a century old property with steep stairs to climb. If you are expecting 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. If you want a very cool experience, this had it.
